- Epic Pizza Cutter Video! Forged Welded Fabricated one-of-a-kind pizza cutter Blacksmithing Project
Hello all! after 11 months I finally decided to create a new video! the wife wanted a pizza cutter similar to one I had made for a friend. So in typical fashion I decide to make something not only decorative but epic as well.
I am hoping to get back into the game of making more videos and this was a great way to get my feet wet again. I have some new inspiration with family and friends. This last year has been a trip for us, we have had to pull from our physical storefront as the economy locally took a nosedive. we have stopped doing shows everything we have for stock is in our enclosed trailer. and my wife has had to return to work after 10 years out of the work force. But as with everything we are doing our best to not only survive but continue on in typical fashion.
This video kind of follows the ASMR route, there is no dialogue, little text and overall, the added music just compliments the sounds from the shop. to keep time signature down and hopefully keep folks engaged some segments have been sped up.
See ya
Chris Empty Pockets Ironworks
Glad to see you back Chris. I hope you and the family are well.
Thank you so much bud
..cut a pizza or battle a Klingon. Well done sir...!
Thank you!!
Great to have you back Chris as you are an inspiration, best wishes to you and family
Thank you
Great to see you back! 👍 sorry to hear about your situation, you come across as a survivor who will do all that is necessary to pull through! Your blacksmithing work is pure art! To me the combination of music and shop sounds is very soothing
Thank you so much! I really supervising that feedback I've dabbled with voice over, text, music no music and have found this format to be the best approach.
Unique design. It look more like a weapon. Great work
Thank you so much
Awesome stuff
Thank you so much
Great to see you back again! Your videos tend to inspire more creativity on my part, and I've gone back and reviewed your earlier work to refresh my memory on several projects. I assume you made those combination dies for your Coal press? Need a set like that for mine. Thanks!
Thank you and yes! They are made from a rail car pin free with a little effort was a better option for me than the 300 bucks from coal Ironworks.
Are you back?
Slowly but surely
Great work, How did you get the brass colour on it?
Normally I'll use a brass brush while hot, however this bieng a food contact item it's frying oil coated and then baked in the oven at 400° for 1 hour.
Ah yes I have seen the brass brush technique before. But did wonder about it being a food tool. Thanks for the reply.
Wow! Where did you get the texturing hammer? Did you make it?
Thank you, and yes just a cheap harbor freight hammer with weld spatter. It wears down just add more.
Going to HF today. Father’s Day discount!
