Katrina Velarde got to be one of the most underrated singers in the world. She can compete with artists like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc., but most reaction videos of her videos have more views than her actual original videos.

She did this sitting down and pregnant. Talk about control! My wife said that when she was pregnant a hard cough while sitting would almost make her pee. Katrina's belting is exerting a lot more force than a cough. We are in awe of Katrina. She was pretty impressive in the GGV challenge too.

@@jrelcabingao2797 Thank you. I was told that she was and it amazed me that she could still perform like that. Even though she is still amazing I should have known not to pass on something that I could not verify. Personally, it really irritates me when fans tell me how sick their favorite singer was during each and every performance. Now I'm guilty. Hanging my head in shame.

Her cover of Never Enough is so amazing. In the middle of the song, you will notice that she did not breath for a longer period of time. I feel like I want to breath for her (lol). Thank you. More Katrina pls.

Tnx Coach Lauren. There you are another Pilipino raw talent, self-taught without the help of professional music teacher/coach. Real talent plus constant practice is the key, no matter how a coach teaches if the pupil has no talent and no ear to music, no way a coach would be succesful in turning him/her to be a good singer. Remember, TALENT is INBORN not ACQUIRED, technique is, but can be freely learned. She can mimic or imitate many great western singers like W. Houston, M. Carey, B. Spears, C. Dion and many more. I do agree with you that vocal technique is quite important in singing, it will result to being great singers. But Pilipinos, boasting aside, don't need vocal coaches and most especially they can't afford to hire one. All the Pilipino Singers you hear/see on You Tube didn't experience having vocal coaches, it's on their own talents, efforts and constant practice. Tnx again coach.
