The place that starts with a K, is called Kokarsteinen, it’s between Ørskog and Stordal. The train is called Bytoget, and yes, it’s guided tours around the city 😊 Very popular with the tourist. Since Ålesund is in the West, the weather can change very quickly here, and we have mild winters here compard to some other parts of the country.

I visit Alesund 4 times a year my son married a beautiful Norwegian woman and moved there 12 years ago, they live in a Island just off of Alesund called Sula , the place is absolutely stunning I am glad you found it beautiful if you have the time take a train journey from Oslo to Bergen, it will blow your mind then take the hurtigruten from Bergen to Alesund, Bergen is another beautiful city

We live with the low temperatures and gloomy weather, but we love our country deeply! How could we not?
The bright summer nights make the strawberries extra sweet, and they are better the further north you go.

We did a city walking tour which was very very interesting because there was lots of History information about the whole town almost burning down..

How much were the strawberries? Do they only take local currency?

Did you pay for the strawberries in EU? I’ve been read just pay for everything by credit, but I’m sure you couldn’t pay with a card for strawberries.

Yes, we paid with local currency for the strawberries. We always try to carry a little local cash for wherever we visit when we go overseas...

I had a friend that got a job picking strawberries in Norway. freezing conditions, poor place to stay, she lasted only a few days. Similar to a high school classmate that got a job one summer picking melons in Yuma

And you think this example is representative. It is not! A story of one person only tells the story of one person. That's it.
