It would be nice if somebody would restore that All Crop . I have wanted one for awhile and I think that's how I found your channel by watching you use yours . I got a love for old farm equipment just no money to buy any lol . To be honest that might be the only AC I would want lol . I hope you have a great day !
@@GeigerFarm Its a 22’ disk. I have a 100hp tractor in probably similar soil as where you are. Wondering if it will be too much disk? What’s your opinion?
@@hammerheadjason Well it depends on your tractor and the soil. I ran with 115 hp fwa (6 cylinder) and 19 foot disc. Pretty sure that I could have pulled a 22. You are right at the extent of the range. You will need weights on the tractor!
Your friend is correct, the screen that 40 is for wheat. Round holes are for soybeans. I'm wondering if his decals didn't come from my 40 as it has pretty decent decals and a few people have used them for patterns. I also have an Innes pickup. The pickups Allis-Chalmers offered were built by Hart Carter.
We run our 72 with an innes from a 60. We would like to find an innes from a 72! Have you ever seen an innes for a 40 before ;)? BTW, the friend is my brother!
@@GeigerFarm tell your brother he has some nice stuff there. There's footage of my 40 running at the Orange Spectacular in Hutchinson MN. It's on my channel jimacman. I have an Innes pickup for a 72. I would probably sell it, problem is it is in the back of a 96ft shed that is full.
That is awesome! I had to have 3 to keep 1 alive in the early 80's. Last thing mine harvested was red kidney beans. 2 acres into a 5 acre field, I was loosing more beans from holes under the cylinder than were going in the hopper. Michigan weather close to Lake Huron, is rough on sheet metal!
@@donvoll2580 Yes Don, that was back in the 60's but I have a photo of my Mother driving her Dad's first tractor ( BF Avery from Montgomery Wards) with that combine from the late 40's.
Real neat pieces of history there!
Way cool! Would love to see the 40 hooked to the RC :)
Might get that done at some point! If he does, I will get a picture :)
Nice little combine, I could use that grain tank that’s in the field to store some feed in.
That one in the barn is really nice
That old combine in the weeds was pretty neat, thanks for showing it. Even the one in the barn was pretty cool too. Hope you have a blessed week.
Thanks Tony.
That's a rare find, crazy how it just sits and it's in fairly good shape.
very rare! Only ever seen two...
Crazy how far machinery has come:) I’m not always sure it’s progress though. Enjoyed the smack-talk between the two of you;)
;)
always love your videos. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
That combine looks like it's got another 100 years left on it instead of a snake den ☺️
😁😁👍🏻👌

I think the one along the road is for sale...but I bet he wants over 2000 for it...Thanks for watching Aaric!
Question: I am thinking about bidding on an IH disk from bigiron. The name is N. Geiger from Troy, KS. Relative?
@@hammerheadjason First cousin! A pretty good young man. I could talk to him if you need

I have seen one other Innes for a 40 other than mine but it was in terrible shape.
Geiger Custom Combining ready to go.
Uhhhhhhh, I fear a very hard way to earn a living ;)
You’re brother seems to be a bit of a collector 😄 Restoring old farm equipment is a pretty nifty habit though 😊
Yes ;) and he sure is addicted!! :) We all have had to learn/apply mechanics, I just tend toward the production side.
Thumbs up 👍
Cool!!
Thank you!
that is so cool
Thank you!
The ends on the 72 reel should be cream too
I restored an AC 60. Amazing combine. Cleanest grain you will ever see.
When we got the 72's, we parked the 60's. They have the same cleaning mechanism :)!
I just bought allis chalmers pull type combine 60/or 66 I have find new reel
Brother made one 🙂👍🏻. It can be done 😉

We raised red kidney beans too in Michigan. We grew breeder, foundation and certified seed stock for Michigan Crop Improvement
We use a little duct-tape ;)!!! Salt is HARD on everything.
