These conversation skills are relevant in English-speaking countries, but in many other places around the world too! Do these same tips apply in your culture too?

Well hey Emma again! Keep the first "like" from me apparently!
As I suppose, these conversation skills you went through are considered relevant 'n' universal in every country or a culture around the world 'cause these tips can be used in any kind of life situation either at work, at home or even in a public place, in a vehicle or anywhere else. Your advice are actually very very helpful 'n' of course, they help avoid many inconvenient, uncomfortable 'n' just unpleasant situations between the people.
Thanks, Emma a lot for great educational videos you're making for us! I do appreciate your work!

Yes they're exist in my country and the close countries to mine, especially the question of the money! I don't know the name of bunch of money that we earn every month but it's nosy to ask about them here. Thanks for everything thing you have done, doing, and will continue to do! ❤️

Emma, the most important thing i learned from this video:
    - Avoid being negative about your work.
    - Respond positively.
I used to respond negatively about my work unknowingly at times. From now on, i will be aware of it.😃
Emma and you didn't mention the way how to ask, ( do you have children?) Indirectly. I realised the mistake after you narrated your experience. It happens. Hope you reply.
    Anyhow i loved this video👍👍👍

It's also tricky giving someone a compliment when you meet. They may think you have ulterior motives or that you only see them in a shallow way, especially if you're speaking about their appearance. "Oh, you're so pretty/handsome" may be the truth, but it's probably not a good start to your first conversation.
And when you're meeting relatives of a friend, you might want to avoid comparing your friend to them. Someone is likely to feel slighted, unless you're complimentary to everyone. "I can see that intelligence runs in your family."
The safest course of action may be to the old favorite, "I've heard so much about you; it's nice to finally meet you." Or, if it's a "cold contact," start with something about yourself. "I'm from X, so I'm still learning my way around."

    Hi Emma, how's it going?
About three weeks ago I was taking a graphic design course, and as we know, now everything is online via zoom or other means, so one of the students asked the teacher this question:" Are you okay? You looks tired" And the teacher felts so uncomfortable that she didn't know what to say, and after a pause she said "I'm okay, I don't know why I look tired", and I felt the shame for the guy who asked the question, and I realized that it wasn't the best way to ask that question.

I am in Latinamerica. In my country it's common people asking all of those questions but I consider it very unpolite, it's something particular! I hate that attittude!!! I should have been born in Australia. Keep prettiest as you use to be!!!!!

I don't want to criticize you. I just want to point something out. After the word (but) there are always only negative comments.I have never heard or read that after but what posities came up. like the example of you. There are some aspects of my job that I really enjoy, BUT I have to admit that I'm finding if difficult to word with a colleague. You just only changed the seat setting. I certainly don't speak English as well as you do. just as food for thought. Great video by the way

You are my bees knees Emma... 😘
There was this message earlier by someone else in which he mentioned that people were talking bad things about you behind your back...
Wonder, was it a direct insult towards you or just explaining some example of this lesson...
Whatever, your lessons mean world to me, no less..
I did reply you back earlier as well, hope you will see it when time permits you...
    Stay safe and healthy...
    Yours...

Oh, thank you so much for reply! I'm certainly agree to go on our chatting, it's always pleased for me!
I'm in Japan now, at the small town Suzuka, where we participated in the another race of this weirdest season. It's a very warm weather here, no storm, no thunder 'n' other some kind of disaster, luckily.
What were you doing the last next months while we don't chatting? I'm curious...
