If you were watching this when I was a kid, it meant you’d hit the jackpot and managed to convince your mum you were sick and should, instead of school, spend that day guzzling lucozade and watching Chorlton and the wheelies, followed by farmhouse kitchen…. Happy days..

Hadn't remembered they had changed the theme tune, the original Farmhouse Kitchen theme 'Fruity Flute' will always be the one and only theme for 'Farmhouse Kitchen'. Great programmes back then, 'Farmhouse Kitchen', 'Paint Along With Nancy', 'House Party', (with only a doorbell ringing as it's opening, no theme tune), 'Crown Court', 'Emmerdale Farm', 'Crossroads', 'Worzel Gummidge', 'The Ghosts of Motley Hall', 'Out of Town' etc, etc.

Fond memories of this coming on, when I was off sick from school; my Nan allowing about thirty seconds post-intro before she'd announce loudly "god, I can't *stand* this *crap* !!" and switch it over as soon as she found the remote down the side of her chair.
Yep, happy days.
I imagine some people watched the show and enjoyed it.
Me? I just liked that theme tune... not this version though.

They wrecked the opening music soundtrack by updating it...it sounds like they cut the tape up and chucked it in a washing machine.
