Like you both said Mooney isn't incredible but he provides solid speed, spacing and hands for an accurate passer like Kirk. Not a Falcons fan but Keon Coleman to Atlanta in the 2nd would be money. Keeps up both themes of 'plus size' and 'plus versatility' in this offense. Mooney would be the exception to the size rule but this offense needs a 'clearout' guy really bad.

I just like the offensive pieces the Falcons have had for a few years and I think even just a competent QB like Kirk can open up the offense alot more. Falcons continue to lose this offseason imo. Kirk is Not gonna be 100% start of camp and when joining a new team that is gonna hurt. Chemistry is everything for a QB and his WRs. New offense scheme. I think people expectations of the Falcons are going to be tempered once season starts. Think of all the time players (QB,RB,WR) hold out for contract issues during off season and that same year when they play how bad of a season they have. I have the same feeling about Kirk. More likely, it's going to be Rondale Moore in the slot. Mooney is fast, but I think Moore is slightly quicker.
