Can a 2004 Golf 2.0 make 150 hp with just a cam and tune?

my 2.0 aba makes around 160 with a 268 cam, chip tune, high flow exhaust, poly mounts and 50k volt coil. depending on the cam you shouldnt have much trouble hitting that threshold in combination with a tune.

Is this a solid lifter head? That's why stem valve height required some correction? I guess that's not necessary on hydro heads

Most likely because he recut the seats lower and therefor the stem height would end up being higher
