I'm also so curious about how long it can live in pure water...I will make an experiment about it in the nearest future also...ofcource It will depend on water quality. Here the tap water quality is pretty good I think , at least not too much chlor in it. I live in Dortmund, Germany
@@seeminglyforever high quality water indeed, but the problem it is that it could take that water in the initial phase, while after that it dies from root fungus whe the soil does not drain quickly enough. I found it strange :)
this sounds also very strange to me, and I have similar problem now. The pot with soil where I transplanted this avocado is a bit too big. And the avocado is constantly loosing new leaves. @@seeminglyforever Isn't the tropical soil a very shallow one or mostly rotting leaves. 60 days reduced to 3 minute video
.
that just proves that time travel is possible
Wow! never thought about that! this is so true!
this video gave me some "journey to the microcosmos" feels
Thank you for motivation my Friend😀👍 really happy for you
Nature is so damn beautiful.
Fully agree😍👍
Once for fun i picked up a advocado seed from our garbage can and i planted it outside for fun and i put a stone on it 2 weeks later i checked and i saw a root growing out of it i was seeming suprised but i was not in my head because i did not have dirt and i did not want to go to the store DAY 2 i needed to go to the grocery store when i thought about asking a close friend of mine for some dirt he bought too much so i could have some i put the advocado in a plastic box that i found and thats all i have to say!
This is beautiful to see this avocado tree dance to be alive, he reaching the light.. ✨
hey how come your seeds got roots in 5 or 6 days for me it been the second week please help me
it's totally fine, can take up to six to eight weeks to see first root, I just started filming not on the first day. it just wouldn't make sense spending your time on watching, because there's nothing happening 🤓👍 good luck with growing your lucky avocado
@@seeminglyforever thx
Why does it still alive in the water all that time while it dies in poor drainage soil, what an hypochlorite plant!
I think the problem is that the soil is always wet.Just added some extra perlite yesterday, let's see 🤔but I get what you mean, it is really strange that it grows in Water but not accepting the wet Soil 👍
@@seeminglyforever Isn't the tropical soil a very shallow one or mostly rotting leaves. And in a daily cycle the water gets (verdunsten) up and as the afternoon is reached new water drips down from the canopy of the other higher (by size not by species) plants when the rain starts. So a sophisticated irrigation system has to be setup.
@@seeminglyforever love the video, may I ask what did you do ? Mine is more than 2 weeks and I cant even see the roots, I think it may be dead, but yet again I flashed soe light to see if it has a root, it is quite small the root. What temperature did you use and did u use some special water ? like from a spring or just regular tap water that sat over night so that chloride could evaporate ? Also whats with the cooper spring ? does it have some beneficial uses for the plant or just as a random suport you have found ? (I am using the 3 toothpick stick in the avocado method)
A fly is chilling on the leaf for a second lol 2:01
He was around for more than a day
Thank you so much for this video!!❤
You are so welcome!
mine is at like day 20 and there is still no roots am I doing somthing wrong?
See how it is dancing. It has consciousness.
My mom grew a avocado like this today it looks like the end!
Avocado's seed was looking for the soil. also, it "knows" that its foliage is the upward direction and its roots are downward.
very active plant )
The background music is wonderful
Fairy meeting from youtube library👍😀
Life is so amazing people need to appreciate it more. This is an awesome video. Thank you. 💟
Thank you for your great motivation🙏🙏
@@seeminglyforever Thank you as well. We need more videos reminding us to appreciate life in these times. 💜🙏
walmart: here is your plant kit and guide (dies after a week)
(gives plant a cup of water and grows)
walmart: confused screaming
😁😁😁
It's been two years and a half since I started growing mine. However, it does not get bigger
did you forget to fertilise it by any chance?
They tend to slow down at some point😃
@@-gheist- um it's been a year since I left it outside
@@seeminglyforever it froze in time
If it's in a pot, the roots might be restricted... That happens to my houseplants
This plant is literally dancing like Jacinda Ardern!
Its fascinating how the spiral always shows up in nature. From a growing plant, to a lightning strike, to our hair; the spiral is ever present

How many frames per day do you shoot to achieve such smooth motion? Fascinating work!
