The fact that we get free videos on UA-cam by National Geographic is truly a gift. 👍👍👍
The Sharks are after our Poutine.

What is that??
What do you mean by that?
And our maple syrup….. 🦈
@@MiZzBee1WHAT!!! You’re not Canadian are you?…..😉 You’re missing out on one of taste buds greatest adventures!!!🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋
Colder waters have more abundant nutrients. More prey, more sharks.
*One of those theories has to do with climate change, where as sea temperatures rise, sharks may move north in search of cooler waters.*
Most experts agree it most likely isn't that, but just simple population recovery. They give their reasons for that.
@@mannycheese1166Jellyfish are prospering. They enjoy the warmer waters further north. You should see how many more there are than decades ago. Far less salmon, too.
shark week best week of the year 🔥
The Saint Lawrence Seaway has both salt and freshwater, as well as is the breeding ground for marine mammals. It's food-rich. Ice fishers have caught sharks here before.
Fascinating
Six foot Great Whites have been caught and released in Long Island Sound off of Rhode Island. Theory is that Great Whites may be using some of the inlets along Long Island as pupping grounds and nurseries. Maybe when these six foot sharks grow to 9 feet, they need to migrate to Cape Cod area and if the bigger/older Great Whites are chasing them out of Cape Cod's waters, they migrate to Canadian waters.
Well that's certainly an untested hypothesis. Go find out
Your theory fails when both juveniles and large adult sharks are migrating to Canada. There's a mixture of sizes all along the east coast of the
US along with Canada.
Incorrect.
I live near the Bay of Fundy they are starting to show up here
Muy entretenido el Video! 🙌🏼
Interesting Video..
Interesting but wish it was longer. I was just getting into this and suddenly it's over lol
There is a 47 video play list called shark fest that pops up once you watch the whole video where you can find the full episode
We're currently live-streaming a bunch of full episodes on our 24/7 Sharkfest livestream if you're interesting in watching more full-length content! ua-cam.com/users/live306xLRnW3Cc?feature=share 🦈
The documentarie is shark below zero
And now I'm no longer even swimming in my own waters lol i didn't think they were in Canada lol
Hmmmm🤔 Could it be we are over-fishing and polluting our waters so much it is clearly affecting marine life!
@@RobespierreThePoof I like to call it good old common sense!
American and Canadian laws about fishing practices are far more stringent then it was back in the 70s, but thanks for the scare.
@@Lucky-nv2ph And how about Chi b as fishing laws? Or Japan Africa etc. You do realize there are more countries that fish in the ocean than USA and Canada right?
nice video
Love 🦈
Most definitely because of warming waters and also food scarcity due to over-fishing and trawling
I love 🦈
Interesting 🍷
Amazing of nature
What does Murdock's unit taste like?

❤❤❤❤❤❤
@NGS; what does Murdoch wants
Why cant humans leave nature alone already?😢
You don't want us to watch and learn about nature at all or what?
Do nature watch and learn about us? Do they bother us?
@@HopesMuerte Sure. We are part of nature.
@@VingulHow do you know that?
@@HopesMuerte LMAO.
It’s July right now. Filmed in August? This is 2022 data at best. Sloooooow!
Doesn't hurt that Newfoundland is right there with a healthy seal population.
If you are near any ocean or sea, there will be sharks.
. Animals are teritorial.. who knew lol
That's because of all not heads, polluting the streams and rivers 😢I know for a fact, this is why the Yakima river has no more salmon, there going North because it's cleaner, would you say in a souwer, or biuled a house in a garbagedum?😢😮STOP IT 😢
Polar shifts
WOW! Even the sharks are tired of US politics.
Just surprised that they got through immigration
All I think of is that could be my arm instead of dead fish meat 😖🤮😭

To avoid killer whales...
Of course the veiled reference to climate change at the end. No mention of what the water temps are or what they have been historically. Perhaps they are seeing more sharks because they are putting more effort into finding them.
Let me guess. Global warming, global, warming and alien invasion. That’s why the sharks are headed north. Great job National Geographic you have become a meme of your self.
I hate sharks, bcuz they eat people
They rarely attack and eat people
I disagree, I've seen so many shark movies on attacking humans and sometimes eat them. And I've seen shows on sharks too. I will never swim in the ocean
It's not personal.
@@sharonmaynard7923 Movies are not reality. I have heard they don't like the taste of humans so there is a plus.
We Humans are the reason for this 💯
More lghdtvq4k there!?
This is happening because of us 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡😡
