Why does my wheels only work when there is no obstacle? It only works when the ir sensor is detecting the black line. How can I reverse the function of ir sensor from off to on?

Hi friend, from my experience it can be made from black tape itself. I have infact used a black insulation tape which was slightly refective also. Just make sure you have a contrast with the background. If you are using black tape, the floor should be a light background.

You can use 9V zinc chloride battery. These are very cheap and commonly available but dont last long. You can use 3 or 4 nos. of these batteries in parallel so that it will last for some time.

Hi friend. That may be most probbaly because the motors may be of different speed capacity. There are 60 rpm, 100 rpm and 300 rpm BO motors. May be both the BO motors are not of same speed..
Hi friend..Do you mean that both the wheels are rotating in opposite directions?. If yes, please interchange the motor wire connection at the motor driver board of the wheel that is rotating backwards. That should solve the problem..
Hi friend. You don't need to change the code at all for making a 4 wheeled robot. Instead of the one motor at left and right, you can connect 2 motors together. Join together red wires of both left side motors. Also join together both black wires of left motors. Connect this to l298n driver board. Similarly do for right side motors also. It is a bit difficult to tell clearly. I have done such a bluetooth car which uses 4 motors. It could be due to many reasons friend. 1. L298n motor driver board may be faulty.2. Batteries may be discharged and not powerful enough to drive the motors.

I am using a plywood with a length of 250mm and width of 120mm..Definitely you can design and 3D print the board also.

@@VanessPinky Hi..you can do this with 2 IR sensor as well. The robot has to stop if both IR sensors detect a black line..

Can i use brown tape in place of brown tape
?
Black will work better since it will give more contrast. So the IR sensor will work better. Brown may also work though I have not tried.
