Very interesting stuff, kinda get an Anders Colsefni / Painface vibe from these guys. Although, why is this song from 1999 but only getting a release on Vinyl now...? 🤔
Very good question indeed and I am happy to respond when I am getting asked (a good) question! My friend, unfortunately things like that happen and it won't be the first or the last time that you hear of a recording getting shelved. At the time, the label had 2 other bands / 2 good CD releases. Supernot didn't even want to play local gigs in their native country of Canada, and Less than Human (they were a really good live band) but unfortunately only played gigs in Greece to very good responses and good results when it comes to Greek sales, but unfortunately Greece is a very small market. The label couldn't afford to release a new album by one more band that would do very very little to promote themselves, so when the Mordicus confirmed that they could only play some gigs in their local area, we HAD to pull the plug and shelve their release. There was no other option, given that the other two albums were already not selling enough copies to help the label and allow for one more release (on CD), even though we paid a lot of money that we will NEVER recoup for their recordings and this official video. Nowadays, people care about vinyl once again, so lets see if the label (Yperano Records) is right in thinking that there is enough demand from Metal fans, to have 100 copies of their album sell out. So there you go, this was the thinking back then, and this is the thinking right now that led to the release of the LP. Now you know ;-)
Greetings, here to listen and watch your music video. I really like it!
Thanks for listening, nice to hear that you liked it ;-)
Brutal track - a punishing tune that hits hard.

I've lived under a rock in the last 20 years. We don't do long hair anymore? 🤭
we do if we want, we don't if we don't want. INNIT?
