I’ve mainly been an iPhone user for the last few years although I’ve always had interest in android. Pulled the trigger on a Z Flip 5 for my secondary work phone and there’s just something about it that makes me love using it! I’m so bored of my iPhone that Ive barely touched it in the past week. I’m a believer in foldables for the future
i just bought this phone and ai love it. Im a Samsung guy but I was iffy about buying a foldable. Once I seen the full display while the phone is folded and when closed no gap was the big sale for me.
I am using Flip 5 for like 4 days now. 😊 And believe me even today the novelty factor flip phones got is unmatched. You will be noticed in Crowd. And the best part is the phone itself! Lovely display, sound, camera is too good. Very good for video calls and blogging. Am just loving it. Trust me if you are someone who want to use big screen and still don't want that big phone in pant pocket, this is the one. And icing on the cake is the cover screen. You can customise the looks and apps as you like it. Make your phone more productive with coverscreen!
I just need money to buy this once i have money i will surely buy this i am a samsunb user since forever i just love the themes and all tbe things samsung provide can't wait to buy this

I love the inner display. Some people are picky about it, but I think the tall/long panel is so immersive and dynamic. The crease doesn't bother me at all.
What about notifications? If say I receive a message from Facebook messenger and the phone's closed, will I be able to reply through the cover screen or is that a feature that's only supported in the stock apps?
If you have that app installed on the cover display through Good Lock, it will go straight to the app when you click on the notification. If it's not on your cover display, it will tell you to open the phone.
I did a really cool way to run wallpaper engine on both the cover screen and have a different wallpaper engine wallpaper on the locked screen/main screen, awesome way to customize my flip5
Do you think its worth upgrading from the flip 3? I preordered thd flip 5 and have the 3 right now. I tested the zoom and cameras in person and the 5 had way better camera quality even though it's the same camera hardware.
Definitely worth it, especially when you consider trade in value. If you wait until the 6, the value of the 3 probably won't be much. Flip 5 is a different phone than the 3 by alot
I would upgrade yes, i had the Z Flip 3. It was a fun phone, but battery was not so good. I traded it with my brother, he had the S21 FE. I've had that for a bit more than a half year i think and than i got the S23 Ultra.
Yes go for it. Out of the Samsung phones for the past couple years, the Flip changed and upgraded the most. Plus the trade-in for you current device is more now than it will be in a year
Hi guys. Any one help me please. Got my z flip 5 . It did the security patch update August. But the Google play system update is still on 1st may ?? And its saying that's the latest update. Is that right. Been trying to update it. It won't. 😢
Great tips! I do think its silly how Samsung makes you use Multistar to be able to use all apps on the front, this should be an out of the box feature. Lots of people probably wont even know this is something you can do (unless they watch this video of course). My dad wants a flip phone and he'd never figure that out... he'd just complain about the lack of front screen functionality...until i showed him how to fix it.
Samsung is more concerned with making sure full app functionality on the cover screen works as best as possible rather than just throwing everything on it by default and seeing if it sticks. What's worse, Motorola allows the full screen running of apps across the camera bumps. And if an unoptimized app requires some interaction in that part of the screen which is now covered, you are out of luck. Finally, when the app doesn't run properly, who do you think the user will instinctively call for support or to complain: the developer of the unoptimized app or Samsung? I do believe Samsung is handling this in a smart way and anyway, your dad has a smart son who can help him out if he needs it 😀
It's what makes android great. The system itself is similar to ios. Goodlock is like a in house jailbreak for the phone. There's many other little things you can do on android . Have fun finding all the Easter eggs

Hey Jimmy, one of the updates states that you can get Better app previews on the Recents screen when you hover with the s pen on the fold 4 and tab s8 ultra when apps minimized but nothing happens??
I just want a feature that will block all calls except from contact! My iPhone have this awesome feature. Which my z flip 5 doesn't have this feature. Other callers can still call me in the middle of the night or when I'm busy and I realised it's a wrong number. It's so annoying. The z flip 5 is a good phone but it doesn't have this "accept calls from contacts only"
There's an option on the call settings (three dot icons in the top right corner). There's a "block unknown" call option. Toggle it on, and you should not get any unknown numbers calling you. Not sure if it works exactly like the iPhone, but I stopped receiving bot callers and unknown unwanted callers ever since I activated the setting.
@@CubZeke no it’s doesn’t work like iPhones. It only blocks callers that have no numbers. Any callers with numbers can still call through to me and I’ve been receiving many calls that are either from people that says they had called the wrong numbers or an answering machine from a scammer. The blocking doesn’t even work to stop incoming scam calls. I had no choice but to switch back to my iPhone 14 Pro….

Do you have any proof or you're just a hater? I have the Flip3 and I've dropped it 3 times already without any casing or protection. First drop was waist level and dropped on a concrete road, no damage and no scratch, just a micro dent on the aluminum. Second drop was from my bag, in a grocery store, dropped on the tiled floor, no damage or scratch (but again just a very minor dent on the aluminum). Third drop was from a table, but this time the Flip3 was unfolded, dropped on a concrete floor and it just tumbled without any damage or scratch or dent. And oh, I've also used this to capture some photos in a swimming pool. The only time I stopped submerging it into water was when it first dropped because I'm worried that the water sealing might have become lose due to the fall, but I still spray it with water to wash it. So what "fragile" are you talking about? I know the iPhone cult would say anything bad that threatens the iPhone's status quo but yours is just level-10 pathetic. To say that it's a "flop" already where it hasn't even reached the store yet (still selling pre-order on the website), and saying "lacking features", "10 steps backwards" without any proof or details is so cult-like to say. I hope it makes your lord Tim Cook happy.
if you are wondering whether to buy it - don't! just don't! the battery is terrible. just terrible. it dies so quick and you can't use it for long. it's really bad. yeah it has a great screen and the small one on the front is good too but it's just not worth the price. the battery is so bad.😔
