Yes, you should do the entire album. It's well worth the time to do so, and you won't be disappointed.
This is from their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. By this song the Queen has killed her crush and started down the path of a descent into madness. She is breaking into a good side and and a bad side. In this song the bad side is taking over and trying to convince the good side that she was not responsible.
First song you have done from their 2nd album. Yes this is the title track. Usually Ale's bass is one of my favorite parts of their music, but I love Dany's main riff in this song. The Explorer Dany is playing here, is the one gifted to her by Lzzy Hale last year.
And Yes, a concept album, written by teenagers. 18,16,and 13 when it was released. So if you are really interested in the lyrics you definitely should listen to the entire record in order. It was played in it's entirety several years ago at Lunario CDMX. First song is Dust To Dust, with Pau on lead vocals.

Its an amazing concept album which is absolutely unheard of to be written and composed by a band of thier age. When they wrote this they were young teens. @@nikkireviewsHi Nikki, If and when you do the whole of QOTMS you don’t have to worry about copyright irrespective of whether you do the studio album or the Lunario concert, where they debuted the album. A few reactors have done both. Either way, it’s worth bringing up the lyrics either before, alongside or after each song. Reactors have tried all three approaches.
The Warning music doesn't age. This year or next year, it will still be great.Start at the beginning. I however, am 76yrs old, so don't wait to long!
Hi Nikki, Perfect Halloween song choice ❤ 😂 oh and BTW when they say Korosu Korosu that's Japanese for KILL KILL, so yeah perfect October song. Also if you want to listen to the concept album check out their performance at the lunario concert in Mexico City 2018. There should be a playlist that has them in order for you. Its a great story these girls created.

They are so good a lot heavier song than usual by them but this whole album is really good. It's a concept album that needs to be done in order. Good choice for Roctober 🎃🎃⚡🔥Dust to Dust, Hunter and Ugh at this show is on this album too all great songs. The drummer sings lead vocals in Dust to Dust which is the first song.

More than a reaction, I would like an analysis of the QOTMS album, for which I suggest listening and watching the Lunario concert in one go, then in a video, make known your thoughts on the lyrics and music and the performance.
I consider this song to be brilliant... I consider the album Quenn Of The Murder Scene to be the best rock album of the last 30 or 40 years. It's incredible to think that they created this masterpiece when they were still teenagers (18, 16 and 13 years old).

Yes, like everyone else who has stated this, but you definitely need to watch their full QOTMS concert at Lunario. They do the whole album in order. Very worthwhile.
The whole album is good but Dust to Dust is a great start and it's also track 1 and the Prologue to the story. The story has four chapters and on the vinyl record each album side is a chapter.
Hi Nikki! You HAVE to go through this album in order. I am not saying this lightly, it's a MASTERPIECE! And have to see them do it LIVE! Either from their Lunario show or their Foro Didi show!

It is an album well worth exploring in order. You are going to read comments about listening to Lunario concert, but for a first listen it is better to watch the video with the lyrics. Lyrics on this album are super important. Also The Warning has vlogs explaining each song; you may want to get into that too.😊
Definitely best to listen to QOTMS in order. Some of the songs make great stand-alone hits and others really need to be listened to in context. I think you picked the best one for Rocktober, but both Dull Knives and Hunter (also great recordings from the Teatro Metropólitan show) are Halloween-worthy. Enjoyed your reaction!

This entire album (every song) is great. Best to listen to it in order and follow along with the story. They played the whole album (along with other songs) at Lunario CDMX for the first time back in 2018. The recording is really good and a must watch for fans of this band. I'm sure someone has made a playlist of the Lunario performance for this album somewhere on UA-cam that shouldn't be too hard to locate. I enjoyed your reaction. Great reaction! QOTMS was a good choice. "Stalker", track 5, would have been a good, dark song for "Rocktober". It would be cool if you did the album in order. I suggest, as you
"like to dig deeper", you research the meanings of the songs. It won't take much to land on a song by song analysis, as many reactors have found them and used them. They are all a bit flawed, as far as matching up, exactly, with the girls' original intended meanings, but they're close enough to get you through. The story is deep and dark, the music is all over the rock'n'toll map, and the lyrics are sublime. I know you'd enjoy going through what, arguably, is one of the best concept albums ever.
One of the parts that you may have not picked up on was when Pau was repeating Korosu, Korosu... She was joined by Ale in this. The word is Japanese meaning to kill or kill. There's a little more in the actual song but I believe it comes out something like Kill, Kill, Time to kill... Hey, when it's The Warning it is never guaranteed they will only use one language at a time. If you haven't heard Amour by them it has a French part & of course Dany speaking in French is a beautiful thing. I believe being a rock star has taken more time than Pau expected but she used to have a goal of learning several additional languages, Japanese being one of them. They are not fluent but at least Pau and Dany can get by in French at least enough to get their point across though they downplay that. Also, Dany had started learning Korean but again, the life of a touring rockstar has stalled the progress a bit.

Great Reaction! As somebody said, the first song is Dust to Dust, which Pau sings (and plays drums), but the second song is Crimson Queen and Dani introduces us to the Queen acoustically. One of my favorites! Listen to it Live at Lunario. They recorded it (so no cell phone video) and they played the songs in order.
Caught them at The Canal Club last year in Richmond, VA. This may have been my favorite song at the show. Lzzy's guitar really sounded awesome on this song and Dany really seamed to be having a blast playing it. Great reaction as usual, Nikki! Thanks!

The concept of a music album that tells a story, has been around the block a few times. There are entire genres (most famously, opera) wherein it is a standard expectation that every album does this.

The Warning is the only band in the world whose 2 album (QOTMS) is a concept album. Add to that the fact that it's a very powerful album.
Dark and heavy. It tells a story of an unrequited love, which leads the protagonist through a sea of despair, madness and death.
Written by these 18, 16 and 13-year-old girls. We can't help but be appalled by such genius.

They did this record when Dany was 18, Pau 16, and Ale 13. It's a strong record, every song on it is either good or great, and it's a concept record. It should have at least been nominated for a Grammy imhop.
Green Day’s American Idiot is a concept album as well. It follows the lives of suburban teens.

If you have not already heard it, I highly recommend Queensryche’s concept album “Operation Mind Crime.” It is amazing.
It is an awesome, but dark story.. Worth taking the time to react to the songs in order. The songs are short, so maybe two songs at a time?
