not sure if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my gf for the last days :)
There are two kinds of Matcha, culinary grade matcha and ceremonial grade matcha. If you are drinking straight matcha, you want ceremonial grade. It’s a slightly better quality, and a fuller flavor. If you’re using the matcha in recipes, then get culinary grade matcha. It is a slightly SLIGHTLY lower quality, but it’s also substantially cheaper. Anytime you’ve had matcha flavored anything, even at Starbucks, you had culinary grade. Any cakes, pastries, smoothies, health foods that have matcha in them were more than likely culinary grade.you’re still getting all the great benefits from culinary grade (depending on what you do with it), so no worries from a health stand point. You typically only get ceremonial grade at a tea house.
Oh my gosh! So insightful 😍 🍵 I’m so glad you shared this! I had no idea there where several differences between the two, but it definitely makes sense as I see some matcha far cheaper than others. Appreciate you sharing this 🙌
Love that you are a registered dietician! I've seen many channels who claim that they are a "nutritionist" when they do not have the extensive education and clinical experience that registered dieticians have. Awesome video~
Aww thanks so much for commenting, Rachel! 🥰 This is a huge reason why I decided to start a UA-cam channel! There’s gotta be more than just “influencers” with no formal background sharing information on such a large platform. Love that you have an appreciation for the value dietitians bring. Hope you have a fantastic week 💙✨
I am so glad you did this video. I just started keto last week and thought this might help with some of the items I will be using on a regular basis. Thank you again!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and recommendations on thrive market . I've never tried it. So do you have to pay a membership fee to purchase from them? Sorry I'm not familiar how it works. Lol! Hope you're having a nice weekend. 🙂
Gloria Lagroon you can get a 30 day free trial to test them out, but after those 30 days is $60 for a membership for the whole year 😊 so it works kindof like Costco! You get major discounts on organic and health food stuff, but you do pay that fee so if it’s something you utilize very infrequently.. it’s probably not worth it! But if you tend to get these foods a lot, it can me worth the money 😊 Good question! Hope you’re having a great weekend too!!
Omgg how have I never tried these before?! They sound delicious 🤤 I’ll have to get these next time! I’ll also have to check the ingredients and see if it’s something I can teach how to make on this channel!! 💙✨
Thanks for the feedback Coral 💞 happy you stopped by!! I actually placed an order on the 10th of this month and had to check in with their customer support team because for some reason it still hadn’t shipped in 5-6 days. The said after the holidays they were backlogged so shipping was taking far longer than usual! Mine did however ship today after all that... frustrating for sure! But not typical in my experience so far ☺️
I use Amazon to get things like matcha. I just add water and shake with ice. I don’t like it sweetened or with milk. It is good with lemonade though. PS at some stores I have seen tahini near the peanut butter. So if it isn’t in the ethnic foods aisle, check by the nut butters :)
Thanks Carrie, I'll definitely do some searching for it in that section of my local store! Also - Agreed with Emmalee, matcha lemonade sounds phenomenal! What's your recipe?! 😍
Thank you SO much for that correction! My true apologizes for misspeaking here 🙏 I will make corrections in the description & pin a comment. Thanks again!
I don’t really have a recipe for matcha lemonade, I usually just squeeze a bunch of lemon into the water and add a little agave to make lemonade. The best matcha lemonade I’ve had was from chacha in LA. They use yuzu to make it. Maybe try a copycat of their recipe? I haven’t searched for it but I’m sure you can find one online :)
Beware: if you sign up for the $10 trial to see what products are available and for how much, and find it doesn't work for you and your family, they won't refund the $10 fee.
Hey April! Thanks for sharing your honest experience. Back when I signed up for thrive, I had a free 30 day trial to test it out. Not sure if they changed that or not recently!
found you from (sean's challenge) I just did a haul on my page from them as well! love them! I also get cashews, dates,. Want to try the matcha next time. I love the ease and shopping and finding everything I need and their free gifts. great haul!
Thanks for stopping by Ella!! Excited to do the challenge with ya 😊 So ironic that we did a similar video around the same time! Great minds think alike 😉 Have an awesome week & see you around on the Think Media Challenge!
I order from Vitacost. They have excellent customer service and super fast delivery. My only complaint is I can't order chocolate during the summer because it will melt so fast because I live in the South. #poloproblems haha. I love pecan butter
Ahh, I haven't purchased from Vitacost before but I've heard good things! I noticed that I couldn't purchase chocolate from Thrive this week either because it's been in the high 80s, low 90s 😩 Seriously the struggle is real!!
Misleading title: Price comparison, you did two or three product price comparisons. The rest was your personal use of the items and description. I won't give you a thumbs down, but please work on content to title.
Thank you for your honest feedback! In the video I price compared all the foods that were available at my local grocery store so I could have a consistent comparison. Looking back at the video - The only thing I couldn’t find a comparison for was the freeze dried mango. If there’s any additional ways I could improve I’m open to feedback. Reviews are not a part of my typical video routine so I’ll admit, I’m not the best reviewer! Thanks! -Katie
Ok....this was a-ok review, but I don't think we needed a long explanation of why you bought the foods. I came for a review on Thrive, not what you like to buy. More talk about the quality, price, and customer service....and how much you saved.
Thanks for the feedback Susan! This was one of my first reviews so I agree, looking back there was a lot to improve upon. You’re absolutely right 😊 hope you have a great rest of your day!
TIP - Start your video with the basic facts about Thrive market (annual cost, shipping costs, etc,) THEN go to your individual item selections (which won't interest some of us because we all shop DIFFERENTLY).
***CORRECTION: the link provided gives you 25% off not $25 your first purchase.

@Brantley Trace Yup, have been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself :D

@@DarkBlueNutrition Good morning, sunshine ! Thanks for the reply. I'll check it out and let you know if I decide to try it. 🙂
My favorite Lara bars are the pineapple upside down cake! I need to figure out how to make these at home!

Thanks for mentioning delivery time. I placed my first order and won’t be placing again because 6-7 days is just too long. 🥴

Matcha lattes are my go to use for matcha but the lemonade sounds amazing! I'd love to hear your recipe if you've got one
Thanks Carrie, I'll definitely do some searching for it in that section of my local store! Also - Agreed with Emmalee, matcha lemonade sounds phenomenal! What's your recipe?! 😍
This does not give $25 off, it gives 25% off to the person signing up.
