  • Khye’s damage: ¥300, my damage: ¥1,500. In total we spent ¥1,800. And since it was a ¥1,000 challenge, we’re well within our combined budget of ¥2,000 and so we passed. My girl math checks out right? 🤪 #thankyoubbforyourleftoverbudget
We absolutely love thrifting in Japan and when we heard about this massive weekend flea market, we just had to check it out! 😬
Here are some tips to make the most of your thrifting experience:
    Cash is king 💸
Arrive early to snag the best deals, as most vendors start packing up after 1:30 pm.
Outdoor vendors often offer better prices compared to indoor ones.
Try bargaining, as some vendors can speak basic English.
Buying multiple items from the same vendor might earn you a discount.
If you spot something you like, hold onto it tight! Once you put it back, it might become someone else’s treasure.
    📍 Tokyo City Flea Market
🚶🏻‍♀️ Just a 10-minute walk from Tachiaigawa Station
⏳ Open from 9 am to 2:30 pm
🛍️ Every weekend (weather permitting), but be sure to check their official website at trx.jp/event/ before heading over!
