The 2022 Toyota Lite Ace comes in 2 different configurations, a pick up truck and a panel van. What we have here is the 2023 Toyota Lite Ace Panel Van, which is meant for deliveries that require protection. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the Toyota Lite Ace Panel Van and see how it drives. The 2022 Toyota Liteace Panel van costs a bit more than the Toyota Liteace pickup, but has the same specs. The 2023 Toyota Lite Ace Panel van goes against the Suzuki Carry, and to a certain extent, the Suzuki APV. The 2023 Toyota Liteace Panel Van doesn't have seats though, and it doesn't have much insulation as well. The Toyota Lite Ace panel van is an ideal vehicle for small businesses and even as a delivery van.

The 1,2,3 scale on the speedometer corresponds to the maximum speed for each gear up to 3rd gear. Since this car has no tachometer it will be your guide so as not to over-rev the engine.
since the instrument panel doesn’t bear any tachometer, i think the numbers beneath the speedometer’s figure graduation would be to suggest each (transmission) gear’s maximum speed, to prevent excessive engine revolution.

Yes, that's the purpose. This is also used by motorcycles which do not have tachometer. If you read the user's manual, that's the explanation about it.

yup I agree, similar to the early to updated Honda Wave moped aka underbone that doesn't had a tachometer... it uses as "capacity" of every gear in its speed by kph
TMP should seriously consider bringing back the LiteAce passenger van. There is a market for small passenger van

The 1, 2, and 3 corresponds to the maximum speed each gear from 1st to 3rd gear can handle if you are going to floor the gas pedal a bit. This feature is also present in my 123 body Benz speedometer.

Can't help but think the automatic transmission passenger Lite Ace would be nice to have considering the base price of this panel van
the 1,2,3 indicates the optimum or maximum shifting guide/prompt at that speed
Can't wait for the review of 2023 Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 in either Equinox Bronze or Sedona Orange.
Their panel van version is more reasonable than fb type versions. Since the fb types are prone more to rust earlier since the box was only made manually locally & lack internal welds rust proofing.

I might be late to the party but the 1, 2 and 3 gauge inside the speedo is the engine speed (RPM) for the last (fifth) gear.

commercial vehicles always has such a clutch set up, it just show that you are not familiar with commercial vehicles, in driving a commercial vehicle its the speed that tells you when to shift gear.

This is the only affordable vehicle for my family but the clutch, I really need automatic I'm burned out of the manual transmission.
Etong generation ng Liteace is 2008 pa na-launch, ngayon lang dinala market sa Pilipinas. Late na late na tayo 😂😅.... sana ilabas din nila yung 7 seater passenger van variant later on.
But with Mazda badge as Power Van or Friendee, Mazda Philippines sells cars pickup trucks and SUVs. That Liteace rebadged Mazda will the only van sold by Mazda Philippines (Toyota and Mazda are partners).

Toyota Lite ace vs Kaicene Honor Cargo base model. Which one?
The Lite Ace pales in comparison with the Honor S passenger van featurewise and pricewise. Against the cargo version of the Honor S, the Honor S is still somewhat better and more affordable.
@@evilshep1581 yes I was referring to the Cargo Base model version not the passenger version.. There's allot more to offer right? The price tag would then be the Cherry on top with the HS. Would the parts availability & durability be factor either way? Or are we just procuring the badge Brand name? 👍
@@JuanKlaro.tv90s All I know about the HS durability are comments I read from supposed owners who posted their attestation of its durability on reviews of the HS and one supposed owner who made a UA-cam video of its modifications. Other than that, I've yet to meet an actual owner who'd attest to its durability. As for parts availability, things just got dark over the horizon due to the Mainland despots nonsense war drills. Things could be better if the Mainland leaders instead consider a more peaceful reunification scenario of a federation system where several Mainland province states and several island states like Hongkong, Macau, and Taiwan become members of the Mainland on paper instead of being "reunited" by force. I smell more money that way.

Toyota LiteAce is now a Philippine version of Daihatsu Gran Max. Nowadays, it's a business model rather than the Minivan one. (currently Innova, Alphard and Avanza and Veloz and Hiace taking role as a family go-getter vans. )
