We turned in M16A2s in August or Sep of 1997, and drew out M4s, so it's been 27 years. Those M4s had fat handguards and lighter profile barrels underneath, like a 727.
i still have my kac and a P&S broomstick from my 03 iraq deployment, my houge finger groove grip, crane sopmod stock and my grip pod but that was later in 09 or 10. cant remember. cool rifle man, i like it. pull that carry handle off and put a comp m2 with a larue lower 1/3 lever lock riser and a surefire 951 and a peq 2A and u have a block 1 clone of the carbine i carried in 03 iraq .cool rifle man,i really dig that look. i think the Gordon/Delta carbine is one of the best looking combat rifles ever made
Isn't this a Mk.18 Mod 0 basically? CAR-15 was a 1963-64 proposed family of weapons by Colt. 603 Infantry Rifle 605 Infantry Leader Carbine 607 Commando 608 USAF Survival Carbine Belt-fed LMG HBAR
@@HWG-wm8ld Nerds are amateurs. Geeks have maybe seen the first hilltop. I'm looking up the next mountain range after climbing several along the way. I'm happy to share the pitfalls and cliff locations, as well as some shortcuts, but everybody has to climb if they want to see the mountain.
I would say they are still a more Boutique shop rather than someone that makes fighting rifles for conventional forces. I'm sure if you wanted a cold hammer for build you could get it with one of their rifles but they do make their own barrels in house
Can you do some kind of review on Type A’s MSR10/Ar10? There’s little to no info out there outside of their shorty stuff. I reached out and asked about some more long range oriented stuff but they (from what they said about their own product) have never shot a ten round group apparently, or done any sort of testing on long strings of fire. Not very confidence inspiring.
Retro AR guys should accept that detachable carry handles are retro now
No

They're like the carry-handle version of a fauxhawk
I'll never consider them acceptable. You can't make me.
This is a vibe.
No, you have to run optics! Rrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeee
Dude, that just looks like such a fun little gat. I want it

Thanks!!!
Nice handy rifle! A1 fixed carry handle with a2 aperture with a Blitzkrieg front site post would make this fuck so hard.
Great video! I have a Bushmaster Hbar with the C7 carry handle upper setup as a modern Car-15 and I absolutely love it!
Hot
@@ANRDesignLLC Thanks man! I really enjoy the content and products yall produce! Keep up the great work!💯💯💯
That is no where near a CAR-15. What you have just made is a MK-18 clone.
Exactly

basically yea its a short barreled ar15. mk18 is the 10.5 version of the block 2 m4, mostly known for the dd quad rail.
Gun nerd alert.

Wish Type A didn’t use stainless barrels on their guns.
yea, stainless dont make much sense on a fighting rifle unless u have a huge budget to swap em all the time. lol

Sweet,thanks !!
It appears that the most controversial thing of this video is the naming of this video lol😂. Great work and great video
Hahahah always need a little bit of controversy
Why wouldn’t they make a legit car 15 with a real a1 upper receiver? I think more ppl would rather have that than what they have here.
You can 100% get that from them but I wanted something at the time that I can play around with it and potentially upgrade if I wanted to
Love this build so much I don’t just like it I super like it
🙏 thank you
A good ar15 is like a tool, I just don’t care. Good video though.
No. Not like, it is a tool.
I need an SBR so bad
Then just do it. Fuck the NFA. Free men don't ask for permission or pay extortion fees.
Is it a car-15?
Trendy beard and tattoos. Talks like Gilbert from revenge of the nerds
Or I have had these tattoos for almost 20 years and I am my own person
