      The helmet lock is with the stock grab rail. I have installed the Zana top rack after removing the stock grab rail. Hence no helmet lock.

      Light is very good. You can go for it. I removed it because I like the stock headlight looks in the bike more. Light output is definitely better in the Vaishnu LED projector.

    Hi Dipayan Bose can we change the suspension chrome cap with new cb350's cap because it's long for rainy days

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  8 місяців тому

      If rain and rust is your concern, the more open it is the better it is. Since it would get air to dry up fast or one could wipe it dry as well. There is a way to open up the top cap to replace it, but that is not recommended.

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  8 місяців тому

      Oh sorry. I thought you were talking about the rear one, the front one could easily be done. Talk to your bigwing dealer and they would do it for you once the parts arrive.

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  5 місяців тому +1

      Since you have already adjusted the tappets, assuming that they are at factory spec, you could consider replacing the tensioner. However before doing so, please have it checked by a good mechanic.

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  8 місяців тому +2

      The stock suspension setup on this bike is stiff. However please do have the coneset checked and tightened ( most likely the coneset of your bike needs adjustment or regressing). Doing this smoothens out the ride quantity considerably.
      Regarding the suspension itself, I would be pouring in a low weight oil soon to check if it helps. Will definitely share through a content. Thanks.

    My shock absorber got very weak I'm using it on last setting still I don't feel confident it's only been a year and half... what can be done any suggestions?

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  8 місяців тому +1

      Check your swing-arm bearings and or bushes. Have it greased or if worn out then you may need to replace them. Poor condition swing-arm pivots leads to lack of confidence from the bike. Regarding suspension being in the last setting ( assuming the hardest one) it varies from rider to rider and different terrains. Show it to a good mechanic, take his advice whether to replace them or not. Never go for repairing rear suspension.

      Since the wheel size is 19 and 18 inch, not many options are available. I will be doing some R & D on this one. As of now, the stock MRF ones suits the bike best.

    Those who have no idea about such DIYs, I would suggest use of WD40 extensively in rainy season and don't go for pressure washing unless and until there is mud/heavy dirt.

      @@DipayanBose i have been using Tach/Hour meter on CB350RS, it costed 1800/-. It's a standalone system, stays on always and detects pulse coming in Spark Plug wire, it has its own battery and as per manufacturer should last for 3 years without needing a change. I'm hoping to disassemble that meter and use electronics inside to make a new RPM meter that is drawing power from the vehicle and also study the electronics inside to see if i can repair it if needed in future , will update if it's a successful project.
