Glad to see this episode finally get the respect it deserves, when the manga chapter came out, everyone was sooooo triggered on Twitter. Because you know, this episode made the daring argument that "riot is bad, and does nothing but harm your cause"
And appearntly, in a world where people can literally have a pencil or a freaking gun as head, Twitter still assume black people also suffered from racism in this world, so they got triggered when Rock Lock was yelled at by the Heteromorphic people
This is why Western media has gotten so bad

Subject matter is so important, especially today. What a great episode
While it wasn’t at the forefront exactly, there have been a lot of instances of mutant prejudice that we’ve seen before this. Sometimes not even intentionally. Shoto Todoroki called the chief of police a “mutt,” and a member of Class 1-B saying that octopuses creeped her out to Shoji’s face. And then of course there’s the Creature Rejection Cult from last season. It’s a genuine problem that some people, heroes included, can gloss over at times.
That leads us to here. Two different perspectives. Should heteromorphs tear down the corrupt system that enabled this kind of prejudice? Or should they prove the prejudice people wrong by becoming a part of that system? Either way, it’s hard to say whether or not that grudge will ever truly disappear.
Biggest regret here though? Accepting those quirks from All for One. By manipulating the emotions of those who were wronged by society, he’s using their cause to further his own agenda. And now, the only person who could possibly understand what was going on, can barely speak properly. Also with just super painful transformations to boot.
Ultimately, this cause was part of a bigger picture that speaks to the corruption of hero society, and changing the world for the better.
So yeah, heteromorph rights!
Hiding one's true appearance/true self to avoid scaring people is an unfortunate reality. Truth be told, I think both ways of rising up against oppression and prejudice have their merits. But I guess that’s the hardest choice for a lot of people.
Truth be told, I feel really bad for Spinner. While he may not have wanted to be the face of this cause, he definitely cared on some level. But that care he had was physically warped into whatever he is now by All for One.
On one hand, I would want to support a movement like this, because truth be told, a lot of people, whether intentionally or not, have hurt heteromorphs, and society has enabled that kind of behavior.
But on the other hand, I can’t say that attacking a hospital is really a great way to prove the point that heteromorphs deserve equal treatment. It’s sad to say, but if All for One loses, then many of these people would be thrown in prison and seen as nothing more than criminals to the public. Obviously, I don’t blame them for acting the way they are though. It’s not fair that they have to make the choice to be strong against unwarranted discrimination that was thrown against them.
Nothing about any of this is fair. But I guess that’s my main point. How should we choose to rise up against an oppressive world? Time is one of the main things that will tell.

Ey BNHA readers, I'm not entirely sure what's counted as heteromorph.
Is Mina counted… is Tsu-chan counted? She's so close to being a human.
Pretty sure Tokoyami is counted.
Since Tsu-chan has the ability that frog has, you could count her as one of the heteromorphs, Mina too, and myb even like Mt. Lady could be one of the heteromorphs too i guess, since she has the ability to be gigantic, and normal human couldn't do that. But I don't really know about Mineta could count as one or not.
I guess the humans that have superpower like Deku, Bakugo, Endeavor etc is totally different when we compared them to Koda, Jiro, Tsuyu, and Shoji who has different feature or looks in their physical appearance or ability that normal human didn't had in the MHA universe.

Anyway extra info, iirc, there's someone that I don't remember, he says that the heteromorphs could regenerate part of their body that get injured, so maybe Jiro's earphone jack could be growing back or healed later.
But myb it's just and only for the injured ones, not like losing a limbs or two like Miruko does...
Update: I couldn't see her earphone jack crystal clear in the last panel of the final chapter, so I'm not sure if it's growing back or not.🥲

But it seems she have a gear there 🤔
