- This is my 1974 DT250A two stroke enduro bike. I removed the engine and had the frame sand blasted. I then painted the frame and swing arm. The fuel tank, oil tank and side covers are the original finish. The fenders were repainted by the previous owner.
Beautiful indeed. I had two of these back to back when I was 15 - 17 yrs old. Man, I miss that sound. Both had dents in top of gas tank from my nuts hitting multiple times lol. I rode the crap out of these bikes. Raced multiple enduro races, and racing through woods every weekend with group of buddies. Great memories.
Simple n beautiful machine...
Thanks!
I used to own a red Dt175 from 1972. Pretty fast bike, I still miss it.
Hi from Quebec
Thanks for the comment. Hi from BC.
Thats one of the nicest DT250's I have seen yet, sweet bike bro!
Take care of her and she will last forever
Thanks, I will. 👍

Hello Sir, are you from British Columbia, Canada?
I would love to see your collection …..I have 2 stroke too
Thank you for your interest in the bikes. I am in BC; however, I am not doing any tours of the bikes at this time.
@@pilotpureThank you for the reply brother…..You earn a new subscriber❤
Please let me know If you ever made mind of selling any of your DT’s collection……or if you find any gentleman selling one…I am looking for unrestored original survivor i live in Langley (Adam)
Nice bike, sounds good. I own a DT3 250 Enduro in Yamaha Competition Green, I don't think it sounds as good as yours. It melted its piston, maybe the timing or mixture isn't right. It's running electronic ignition and it's now 12v too.
My best advise would be to go to www.yamaha-enduros.com. They have a Tech Library with Service Manuals and a lot of knowledgeable people that are willing to help.
@@pilotpurethanks for the tip
How do you like the DT250 vs the YZ250?
Cannot say, I have never owned a YZ250.
newer bikes are so ugly, wish they would go back to the older designs they used for these 70s enduros
This is made in?
The DT250A is made in Japan, the video is made in Canada. 🙂
would you sale it? if yes, how much?
Sorry, it's not for sale at this time.
I’ll bid when it is.
