Great tour! We are a 2024 D and still working on making her our own. GREAT ideas RE: the front curtain, the added shelf in the top cabinet by the door, the bathroom closet mods and THE SINK!!!! Sweet! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for showing us your unit. It gave me some ideas when we finally get out 24D. We are looking at the U-shaped dinette (like yours) rather than the theater seat option. We will be having “non-paying customers”. Our daughter and her husband and 3 kids (under 10) go camping with us. They have a huge tent. The kids to like to sleep in the motorhome though (non-paying customers). We do need the extra sleeping space. We are going a tad smaller than we have now (similar to the Minnie Winnie 26T) and will still tow a small car. The Navion/View is a joy to drive as well. We are excited and can’t wait until we can get the Navion.
That's awesome. We love our Navion. It's so versatile and the dinette gives you an extra sleeping space besides the murphy bed and bunk. Best of luck. Wishing you safe and happy travels!
@@happyrvafter When our daughter and family go camping. We have an extra 5 people during emergencies. Thankfully, they have a huge tent and the Navion has sturdy locks -LOL!
Picking my long curtains up from the seamstress tomorrow! Glad you did another video with more details, as it really is a great mod on Winnebago Navion/View. The short curtains were never really of much use and we used to just hang a throw blanket up for those quick boondocking situations. I was able to find some curtains on Amazon that worked. Thanks so much for the help!
That’s awesome! I’m happy you found similar curtains. Helpful tip: tuck the curtains on the driver’s side above the bunk when pulling the slide in. It can get caught up behind the seat otherwise. Tag me in the V/N group if you post pics so I can see what you did! Happy travels!!😃🙌🏻🚐
Loved your tour. Question: I didn’t see a pantry. I did see there were cabinets next to the fridge but wondered if it was set up for a pantry and if so do you find it adequate? We are shopping for a short class c now. So that would be helpful to know is from someone who lives it. Thanks. Kim
Good catch! Thank you for asking. Yes, there is a pantry to the right of the fridge. Behind those 2 cabinet doors there's a total of 3 full size pull out drawers and 2 shelves. This RV has plenty of storage inside and out. I highly recommend checking out Winnebago's View/Navion models. There's a few new models which are just coming out. Check out @newstatenomads videos on UA-cam for more info and tours. Good luck on your search for a class C!
Thank you. No, the seamstress sewed the glide tape to the top of the curtains. There is no angle cut. The reasons it looks like the side is at an angle is because the snap pulls it closer to the wall.
Of course! Ask away! It depends on which model you choose. Here’s a link where you can get more info: www.lichtsinn.com/blog/winnebago-view-and-navion-occc-gvwr-gcwr-more/
Your furbabies are sooo adorable and cute!! They're just looking and so behaved! We are building a Prevost bus so we can take our furbabies with us. Your motorhome looks so relaxing and roomy. I subscribe because of your furbabies haha sorry
Awe thank you. We appreciate the follow and the dogs do too! Congratulations on your Prevost build! That's so exciting!! Best of luck to you and happy travels.
You can contact Winnebago for the larger 1 piece cushion. It fits much better than the 2 side cushions and doesn't slide around. Winnebago dinette sleeping filler cushion part number: M00888-58-001
How do you get Internet? Starlink? How is the restroom situation when driving? Is there easy access to the toilet without having to release the slideout? Are yu able to use the Murphy bed with the slide out still in, if you were for example visiting family in a neighborhood with hoa, is the camper still usable?
Great questions! As for internet, we use our cell phones as a mobile hotspot. We each have different carriers so when one has poor coverage the other one usually has a signal. We also use the weBoost to strengthen the signal. That seems to work for our needs and the way we travel. Some people use Starlink for more consistent coverage, especially when traveling in remote areas. As for the restroom, YES we have full access with the slide in. You can check out our "shorts" video from 4 months ago to see the space with the slide in. The murphy bed only fits with the slide out. If you need to park in a spot where you cannot put the slide out, there are 2 other sleeping areas: the dinette and the bunk. We've slept on each in times when we could not extend the slide. This RV is usable and flexible in so many scenarios which is why we love it so much! Plus, you can pull into a regular parking spot width-wise as long as you can pull through to another spot for length. Thanks for your questions. I hope this helps.
We purchased the stencil "Life's a Journey, enjoy the ride" from JadeDecals on Etsy. She was very accommodating and did an awesome job at designing exactly what we wanted :)
Love your style! It is so easy to listen to you! I enjoy you being so concise and not so wordy! Just give us the facts 👍 Look forward to your videos! One question - do you tow a vehicle with your MH? If so what do you tow?
Awe, you're so sweet. Thank you so much. You made my day. We do not tow a vehicle because we find it so easy to travel in this RV. Sure, there are times when we wish we did have a car, but we can either rent one for the day or take along our bikes or e-bikes. We know many people who tow a car with this RV and it's totally doable.
Love this rig and the tweaks you made for your needs. I love the roominess of this model also, so when we win the “big one”, it’s on my bucket list! LOL. Have a question regarding mechanical issues, either while driving or when camped. Any problems with the rig in that way, also as to the quality of the rig itself? Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much. When we were looking for an RV we chose Winnebago for it's quality and reputation knowing they stand behind their product. Like any RV, the first year you might experience some minor issues as you're breaking in the vehicle. We also chose this model for the Mercedes Sprinter. The Mercedes diesel engine and technology has a good history of performance and functionality. We've had a few minor recalls over the years from Mercedes but it's all been addressed quickly without any challenges. Overall we're very happy with this vehicle.
We do not tow a car. We've found that this RV is so nimble that we can go almost anywhere. Of course there are some restrictions regarding height (11 ft) but width-wise we can fit in a regular parking spot providing we can pull through to the spot in front of us. Our width is 7'7" and length is 25'6". We can also parallel park on a street. Many people do tow a vehicle but we're fine not having one.
My wife and I have one. We tow a two door Jeep. Tows it no problem. Jeep is 4000 lbs. Going up a steep hill it is a little underpowered when towing, but the rest of the time tows well.
Thank you for the reply, I posted while I was watching and heard the parking part at the end right after I posted. We don’t want to tow a car but I am worried about parking in a lot of the national parks. All I hear is how hard it is to park at them and class B vans are better for that. I would much prefer a rig like this though.
This model looks like the perfect RV

Note that the entry door changed with the 2024. It is more like the standard motorhome entry door.

Love this unit. We like theater seats but I can see the benefits of the dinette. Nice tour. TY and enjoy.
The theater seats are great and look really comfy! The dinette works best for us with the dogs, the extra storage and working remotely.

Loved your mods. Did the seamstress cut the curtains at an angle for the snaps
