One of the strengths - and there are a ton of strengths - in this show is how they weren't afraid to show the bitter sweet moments such as this one. I love this episode. Chuck 2019.
IMO this was the first of 3 episodes that turned her 'really like' Chuck into 'love'. The first scene with her dad he is putting his coat on her to keep her warm. This scene she asks about the money and he tells her that HE trusts chuck. Then we have the dad telling Chuck to take care of her. And the final piece is Chuck putting HIS jacket on her to keep her warm - a full transition from her dad taking care of her to Chuck doing it effectively with her dad's blessing. The other 2 episode to me were the next episode with the bracelet (chuck vs santa) and the 3rd one was the "best friend" one. This one got her going, the Christmas put a lock on it, the Best friend threw away the key. :)
Agreed. Chuck's explanation to her of why Morgan is important to him as his best friend, is the clincher. And it gave her much greater appreciation for Morgan, too
The next episode - Chuck vs Santa - is where Sarah falls in love with Chuck. We know this from the DVD in the second to last episode. You see Chuck’s jacket on here sofa from this episode.

You do not get it? Her memories were suppressed, not erased. They were coming bits by bits. So how she remembered things quite old and other less older. The song "River and roads" is about that. She will recover all, rapidly or not, but she will remember everything. that's why she asked Chuck to kiss her. She wants to remember!

Nop, is where Sarah finds out that she indeed loves Chuck since the beginning. She never felt something like that, for any guys, not even for Bryce.

She fell for him during their "first date" in the pilot. She finally admitted it to herself after this part with her dad.
maybe my favourite episode and moments like this were erased from sarah' s memory in the fifth season, how not to get pissed
