I had one the plow tripped 1 foot below ground 2feet round I used manure forks and wiggled it down and then pride back it took a little work . I had a IH 584 ALO loader it will lift 2 ton , I found 2 more after that . Pick them now , you don't need too whorey again .
@@FarmallFanatic if you want credit for teaching someone farm it would be better to pick someone who didn't have to quit milking cows and can get crops in.
3rd gear. Mainly so I don't overpower the traction and just keep spinning. If the field was longer and not as steep I'd usually be in 4th. I believe going from like 4th direct to 4th torque back increases torque 22% while dropping speed. I'm not sure of the speed break down on the IH but the Ford dual power does about the same and I know there is some over lap in speeds where direct in some gears is slower then power drive in the next lower gear.

The 986 is doing a nice job.
More power is always better.
I told you to go get the pallet forks, and that's exactly what you did
Jealous because I got pallet forks.
@@Mad_Farmer912 I'm just guiding you in certain situations
@@FarmallFanaticNo wonder I'm so lost. 😂
@Mad_Farmer912 you're not lost, you're rebellious to my training
I had made hay from this grass bevore i plough it .
It's not as good as it looks. It's all volunteer growth, mostly weeds and what grass is there is just clumps.
@@Mad_Farmer912 Aha ok
How many acres of corn 🌽 are you planting? Jw
Hopefully around 30.
What gear you plowing in on the international?
Because the field is short and to not over power traction and spin out more 3rd gear. Better conditions id probably be 4 th.
That's 3 rd with the TA
@@JustMakingIt-123you made me think and question enough I had to go and and look. I was actually in 4th with the torque back.
I told you the 986 would do better. You glad I got you into farming a few years ago?
So you're to blame for that bad decision.
@@Mad_Farmer912 No you're just new to this
@@FarmallFanaticare you saying you're old?
@Mad_Farmer912 old enough to teach you how to farm... you glad I did or not?

So I was wondering what gear you're in. I like to use a lower gear and keep the t.a. in high most of the time, isn't that like direct?

I got thinking and had to go back and double check, I was in 4th with the torque back.
Why don't you run duels on the furrow side
I don't have a set of duals and you can't run duals on the furrow side unless the plows are equipped with a onland hitch.
Everybody likes hearing I told u so all the time that is for sure
The more you used that tractor the better it sounded
Yeah, I'm thinking it just needs to be worked some. I've maybe put about 40 hours on it in a little over a year.
