He didn't just leave her I don't think. & I'm sure he wasn't perfect... but that still doesn't take away his good qualities as a man... and like the commentor said "He's a provider"... You can tell he was a good provider, just based on how his kids repays him by taking care of him. Shitty parents get put into nursing homes.

I think Joanne is quite happy living on her own without having to deal with an ex hubby. Joanne always has a beautiful smile on her face and enjoys spending time with her family as long as they go back to their own homes at the end of the day. Let's face it what woman doesn't enjoy doing her own thing, and Joanne has definitely earned her peaceful life. 😂

Ed even talks about his own parents as if they are still alive it's just the way this terrible illness messes with our memories by wiping out the recent events first and bringing the past to the forefront. My daddy was the same bless him, but the only difference was my parents met each other during their school days and stayed married there entire lives until they were called up to heaven to hopefully be together again. He died ten days short of a year after we broke up and he's been gone now for coming up on 13 years and I've given up on trying to find someone else. I still miss him like crazy!

It breaks my heart but I’m so glad she doesn’t have this anxiety. She has been living with me for almost 8 years and her worse fear is not staying with me which I reassure her will not happen. Like your dad, my mom is so sweet. It makes taking care of her so easy. I’m thankful for all caregivers in this world. And I love that your mom is so wonderful with him.

Gosh! I'm sooo incredibly blessed to have an amazing father of my 2 kids . 2 kids by tender age of 17 and 18 married too. Divorced shortly after BUT.. I HOPE at very least I'm this blessed for he and I to have this much love 4 each other to the end.. we r now 59 and 60 with life Long love and respect for each other all these yrs later. Both been tru challenging timed and there we r together still. Nothing I wouldn't do for father of my kids all these yrs and know he would feel same always. Rare love and respect even as young as we were way back when. I can definitely love and appreciate this rare form of love. Beautiful relationship regardless of ur parents divorce.

Both been tru challenging timed and there we r together still. Nothing I wouldn't do for father of my kids all these yrs and know he would feel same always. Rare love and respect even as young as we were way back when. I can definitely love and appreciate this rare form of love. Beautiful relationship regardless of ur parents divorce.
