Not as funny as that young German woman (on Lee Mack’s team) on WILTY who openly flirted with David Mitchell during a question about the Munich beer festival - check out the clip. (David was oblivious to the flirtation ‘til Rob Brydon enlightened him!). Hilarious.
Really enjoy her on these shows yeah. But the other US guests on this particular show were mostly fine too imo. Even the ginger curly one that I can't stand when she's on an American show. Forgot her name, most famous for roasting Obama or some other president at one of those press meetings.

it surprised me. never seen strictly...does she space out while they dance? I guess that is her default.
I'm no dancer, but having tried to work it out myself I was far more concerned about the lack of "showing work" than that she was wrong there.
Like I started with "Salsa, tango, chacha?" on the first one before settling on Tango right? I had the third as Charleston before crossing it out and putting "Lindy Hop". That's obviously wrong, but having just seen what they did you can "kind of see it" right? They started Charleston moved into what I would have called swing then did a Lindy toss at the end right?
Her list legit just looked like she was throwing out random dances for half of it.

To be fair, Jimmy said they were going to demonstrate 8 dances. Then said, as a separate sentence, "I want you to name as many dances as you can". he didn't actually specify they had to name the dances being demonstrated. (Sorry, just having an attack of David Mitchell style pedantry)

I, too, was looking for Latin and Ballroom pairs dances. Macarena is a choreographed Hand Jive line dance. Charleston falls under the Swing category. Rumba is a latinized Fox Trot with extra hips. Bad Twerk. Bad question.

Claudia Winkleman is one of the most frighteningly smart people to ever appear on WILTY. Just because she likes to play it dumb for comedy panel appearances sometimes doesn't mean the performance is real.
Claudia is very intelligent but arguably crazy.
