Thanks for the history lesson, Sergey. What some people may consider depressing I personally consider the architecture and history of the buildings. Great drone coverage too!
EMS - this architectural heritage is well known. I’ve read references of all kinds in news articles or in commentaries across the States...and here it all is, The Soviet legacy. It really all existed. However, in college or else where you only got a picture showing one building at a time. This is a great video.
And what i love about it is all the green areas ! I remember when i was in my girlfriend old place The same kind of building. But in moscow! sergey we Will show up in your city in 3 weeks..Will u have time to meet up ??
What projects, specifically? Guarantee if you ask anyone in Harlem or the Bronx where would they prefer living, none of them would choose Russia over staying in NY.
Very interesting. I'd not heard of Kupchino so it was nice to see what you filmed for us. Everything looked neat and clean. The views from the drone were fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
I think this district is very beautiful with so much green space, it looks like a lovely place to live. Everything you would need is close by, what more can a person ask for? Lovely presentation, great drone shots, Sergey you are getting even better at making videos as time goes on. ( I know it takes a lot of time to edit them so I want to say to you 'good job' ! )
It is possible to make buildings like that more appealing on the outside too. There are some projects around the world to give mass produced buildings like this a more classicist look. Then you will have a well planned and green living environment with practical apartments AND a beautiful exterior. These houses is anyway better than what they are building in my city right now: rust houses (use Google Translate). Houses like this is purposely built to be ugly and the Soviet houses wasn't MEANT to be ugly anyway (yes, the whole house is covered with sheet metal that is meant to to rust and the house in the picture was built last year) : malmo.lokaltidningen.se/nyheter/2019-03-19/-Omtalat-rosthus-utn%C3%A4mnt-till-%C3%A5rets-fulaste-byggnad-%E2%80%93-men-%C3%A4r-MKBs-mest-popul%C3%A4ra-hus-att-flytta-till-4444978.html

My goodness...when you give us your darling smile..it lights up the screen...This city is so interesting..another beautiful gift from you to the world...
I know in the West the image of Soviet-style apartment complexes is something brutalist and run-down. But, the reason the image exists is because these were filmed when former USSR was in a deep depression and nothing was maintained. When Soviet apartment complexes are well-maintained, they are very people-friendly. You see all the green spaces between buildings, you see all these kindergardens and small schools inside these large apartment complex parks - which, if you think about it, is very kid-friendly. Kids can go to school by themselves, in the safety of being inside a large city block - no big roads to cross, no questionable stores, clubs, bars, etc.
Thank you very much for this grate vidio, excelent fotografy and flies over the CUPCHUNA, good information about the living area, greatings from Mexico city.
Fascinating! really interesting... the drone footage really spectacular and capturing the architectural planning and layout really well. This aspect is missing from most western developments. To see it on such scale is really exasperating... also can see you really enjoyed making the video, and some excellent stats coming out there. Brilliant bravo! You are really working that new drone Sergey and doing a good job with it. Thanks for this. Sometimes Americans think that al Russians are sad and depressed but that's not what I'm seeing. Nice to see that spring is finally taking hold and that they've kept as much forest as possible. Did everybody have a long weekend with Victory Day being on a Thursday or was everyone back to work or school on the 10th^
Most people had a long holidays from May 1st to May 5th and from May 9th to May 12. Schools were closed at those days. The number of holiday day offs in Russia is amazing.
