      When Stack was with Detroit, he was putting up a consistent 20+ points next to Grant Hill... one of those years, he averaged just under 30. If you want to pick on his field goal percentage, the only thing I'll half-heartedly agree with is that Stack was great when he was good, but he hit his ceiling fast and his skills diminished even faster. He overstayed his career.

    We were robbed of Grant Hill’s absolute prime but those injuries actually kind of prolonged his career later in his mid to
    late 30s because there wasn’t much mileage used in his late 20s and early 30s

      Grant Hill first six seasons in the league, he average 22pts, 8 rebounds, and 6.3 assist a game. MJ averaged more points because he had to score in order for their team to be relevant. Grant could have averaged 30pts, but chose to show his all-around game.

      @@CPSeymoursSeed not as crazy as you think. That was in the 90's, Kobe couldn't touch those guys back then. Kobe could've actually used a couple years of college for his development because he wasn't ready when he came. I watched it all happen, I'm the same age as Grant Hill. Even after Kobe became great in the 00's I would still take Grant or Penny if they didn't have the devastating injuries. The college ball Hill and Penny played had them dominating as soon as they entered the league. If they stayed healthy the history of the league would've been different. Had Kobe played two years of college he would've entered dominating too.

    HUH? Pistons were not contenders until Rick Carlisle comes. Hill was gone by then. Hill and Stackhouse had 1 season over .500 42-40. Hill & Stack had great stats

    As decades go by grant will be forgotten and it’s sad. There’s many athletes in sports that had promise, and dominated for a short time, and eventually stop getting mentioned as time goes on. In 10-20 years People will look at that eras stats, championships etc.. and won’t find him. They won’t know or believe how good this guy was.
