    Honestly, if I was a child, I would want to see this man on TV everyday before and after school. He's just so full of energy and so brilliant at what he does. I especially love how he communicates with the children at their eye level. I love him.

    I’m also a teacher in China for up to 30 plus children, it’s amazing they can speak English well. The hard thing is sometimes they cannot understand me if I speak English so I need to translate for there language.

    • @bradleyinvierno7264
      @bradleyinvierno7264  5 років тому +1

      Hello. I totally understand, I've also been in that situation when the students don't understand my instructions in English thus making it more challenging. That is why consistency is very important. While it is justified that in the beginning, students will not be able to understand you, if we are consistent in speaking with them through body language, print materials and real objects, they will be able to adapt eventually. Just be patient and be creative so students won't lose focus and interest. I wish you goodluck! :) :)

    This was a very creative lesson for the children I have ever seen! more videos Sir, but I have a question here, what if the lesson will take about an hour and not just 21:05 minutes long, how do you manage and get the attention of the students at the same time? I'm hoping for your response, THANK YOU!!!

    • @bradleyinvierno7264
      @bradleyinvierno7264  4 роки тому

      Hello, Gary. I am so sorry for not responding earlier and thank you for watching. Each class and age group has recommended class duration. Usually for a class with this age group, 20-30 minutes is recommended because they can only handle so much as kids. If you go further that this, you will notice the changes in their attention and behavior. If 1 hour is a requirement, then I suggest that you take a 5-10-minute break. Allow the kids to visit the bathroom, or have a little snack, or sing a song, anything that will break the class. I hope it helps. :)

      What I usually do in case of a kid being uncontrollable, that is after using all possible ways to get the student back in the lesson, is to let the homeroom or the Chinese co-teachers to deal with the student. Usually, I prepare coloring materials for this kind of situation. I let them assist the kid, separated from the others and let the kid color pages.
