In english, there are two "i" and "e" sounds only, but russians has 3'rd sound, something like very low article "a", saying as the "e" latter. Or you can hear a very low sound in the "school" word, you may try to say it as "e", lowing the "skill" sound "i".

Dramatic contralto. Not many female singers on the planet can do this at this quality. Also at the dramatic end not many voice teachers notice those feminine "yelps" at the end of the phrases, which are huge jumps in octaves.
