- Finally releasing my year end for 2016. I'm not as happy with the result this year, but that was mainly due to the lack of upbeat songs this year. I've tried to make this as enjoyable as possible by including various genres into this year end. I've decided to add some kpop songs and mix this with western songs as well. I hope you all enjoy this! After being through a really busy year, I wish all of your year was a good one. I hope everyone has a great year ahead :)
Thank you to aihposmashups for editing most of the video once again! Really appreciate all the hard work she puts into editing it. Apart from the usual chord clashes in some parts (esp around the 3 min mark), this was really good. Transitions fit well and I'm impressed by the amazing originality with some of the instrumental choices. The use of the NO drums was a nice touch.

Thank you! But sorry which songs are you referring to with the chord clash?
I'm talking primarily about when instrumentals are combined, even when they are in the same key.
Without going into exact details (because I'm not sure what the additional layers are in addition to Into You), if the instrumentals you use don't have identical chord progressions and have chords with roots differing by seconds (like a III and a IV) they will clash, even if the keys are the same.
But seriously, don't feel bad or get too hung up because the vast majority of year-ends that combine instrumentals also have these kind of blue notes, as you would need full stems to fix this kind of stuff (or not combine at all). You still did a really good job and put in a TON of effort into this and it shows.

I have to agree a lot of songs in 2016 wasn't that upbeat, too much deep/tropical beats in that year - but that isn't bad though, I just hope it changes in 2017. 👌
I'm surprised to see K-Pop songs here, I just started to get into that in 2016 too, thanks to a friend. 😄
