Most of the time, they appreciated it because they're experimenting and they have no idea how they really want to dress Changing style is not the same as changing one's personality. Its definitely not negative to advice a friend. I would rather tell her the truth than to let her go out and be a laughing stock to others and get insulted. Moreover, I'm fine with QQ's old style other than the tacky ones as mentioned previously. And one more thing, if QQ really liked this style, she wouldn't have changed to a style which is much more subtle and neutral. And to be honest, her style is way better now. So changes is not necessary a bad thing, its how one would define it.
