I have few questions could pls answer them. It would be great help.
1. Can we use same number range for ROH MATERIALS and semi- finished materials? And why?
2. Why we go for customization and we have sap standard material type and document types?

Yes we can assign the same number range to the two different material types but it could be either internal or external...but note material type must be different..
2nd questions yes SAP has standard document types and material but as per the business requirements we have to customize to cater business needs..
Ex if a company use some powder type raw material in this case we can create a powder material under ROH material type it's totally depand on business requirements...

Sir what is negative stock ?

Negative stock is that suppose you have physical stock and you didn't do the GR means there is no stock in your system but physically u have...and you have to issue the material to cost center in so if there is no stock in your system than system will not allow you to issue the goods..in that case negative stock comes in the picture...u can activate the negative stock in material master...once you activated system will allow you to issue the goods..
