I'm very familiar with laminar flow vs turbulent flow, but it's pretty hard to see a guy that's getting his ears ripped off say, "I think I'll be able to sleep with this a whole lot easier". Sounds like a sell-job to me. I'm skeptical.
The part I thought was funny was the guy thought that the best way to illustrate how it works to interest people was using the smoke ring gun to show how you'll get blasted in the face.
Re: the mask, I think it would be more comfortable to shove those tubes straight into your sinuses. But I suspect they make the mask more comfortable. They're always going to be a little uncomfortable.
As a side sleeper, it's those side knobs that get me. I can't even use the p10 oem headgear because of the big rubber gobs where you adjust the fit.

Probably another does half a job well mask. It’s amazing that scientists create these masks yet they can’t fix most of peoples issues..just one or two issues.
Still waiting to see a real cpap user use this laying in a bed moving around etc

For real! That stupid chin strap has been the bane of my existence. Will this keep us from having to tape or strap? I also wish it didn't scrunch the eye area so much, but hey, I'm still really excited to try it!

Looks to be a possible breakthrough technology. I agree with others that the current iteration is in need of an aesthetic rethink.
I'm sorry, but those straps look just as uncomfortable as the ones on any normal cpap mask.
😳🫢😬 I don’t know about ANY of this lol given a choice I would stick to CPAP & I am a Registered Sleep Technologist that also wears CPAP…..Cannula type tubes are just itchy & uncomfortable! Patients hate them. Guess we will have to wait & see what they do with that mask!
yeah, nahhhh, i like my mask and the air blowing through evenly, it looks uncomfortable, like something stuffed up your nose and hooked round your ears, and i also mouth breathe
I would like to see the independent research data showing the effects on the upper airway over time, like how the diaphragm is affected or the repeated blasts to the trachea.

Does one still need to wear a chin strap? I use nasal pillows and it works fine but have to wear the strap as well.
My thought excatly, I have to wear a full face mask because I sleep with my mouth open. This mask design might not work me unless I wear a chinstrap, but I am not sure if I am that excited about adding more stuff such as chinstrap on my head. Hmmm, have to rethink this idea maybe.

Anyone have any old broken CPAP’s they don’t need or want anymore? I’m building some 3D printers and using the air pump makes for AMAZING part cooling lol.
