I am like you in the sense that the steps of the process are fun to me. I use this time to pray for all the people who will receive my project items. Very cathartic.
I am so glad you use what you have on hand..the whole reason to do handmade...is just that handmade ..your not having to buy everything for everything...I love that...which brings me to another point...fussy cutting to me is so relaxing...no need for fancy smancy...I love it...and I have fibromyalgia...but I still really love the basic stuff..the genuine art
Love the tag idea! And this paper is adorable! By the way, if there were 45 tags to begin with in groups of three and you removed 3 groups originally, you should have had 36 tags. You added in the set (3) that you stamped the wreath on, therefore making a total of 39 for which you needed 78 little circle pieces. 45-(3×3)+3=39. 39×2=78 Math,😁! Love ya! We all have our talents-I was a teacher (retired 01/2017 after 30 yrs).
Omg that rubber band tray idea is a game changer! So glad you figured that out and shared that with us! I am a mass producer as well so this I will definitely recreate for my craft area.
Love your accent, love your tutorials. Truly enjoy You so much!!!! May God continue to bless you and your tutorials. We are truly blessed to have your shows. We learn so much.
Just found you on UA-cam and appreciate this lovely tutorial. Love the little tags with your own wording! May God bless you and we see many more great tutorials , Love from South Africa
I think your tags are great ... but the best thing was the stamp pad holder!!! You have saved me much “grief” as I use my Versafine every time I stamp. TFS!
Your idea with setting the stamp pad on the rubber bands is brilliant!! I always get ink all over my fingers while doing that, also. Thank you, as always, Maymay!
Tfs. I love your process and watching you make your tags, toooooo cute! Love the solution to the ink problem I was always getting ink on me. You are an inspiration
Versa Fine ink pad trick is BRILLIANT. That has been one of my frustrations too. The hole punch trick was awesome too, WRMK has a hole punch thing that does that if people want to save time.
Wonder if you also open your Misty from the right side instead of left, it would be even more efficient. I love your rubber band idea! I will be using it? Last night I was stamping 48 cards, front then back, so 96+ stamping motions. I was using the Momento teardrop shape mini pad and was having the same issue. After about 10, I realized it has a little stand on it so you can stand it upright and therefore, sit it down and grab it up quickly and easily. I’ve been using these for years and never saw that feature! ☺️
Your tags are so cute MayMay. I definately need to check out my paper stash and/or order that paper stack. It’s awesome. Thank you for another great project. I love it!!!
I have made those reinforcers too! I totally get it about enjoying the process and remembering it! I love this pack and I got them from your store! Still haven't decided what I am going to do with it . I have the 6x6 as well and am thinking of combining them and doing a small journal or 2. Hmm, I may need the 12x12 as well.... Great vid and love the ink pad rest idea!
What a cool idea for an ink rest! I love my VersaFine ink pad, but have found it somewhat cumbersome, also. Your tags are super cute! The hole reinforcements really top them off! LOL!!!!
Your ink pad rest made me LOL! I just flip my ink pad upside-down on my desk, then sit the ink part in it loosely and it works the exact same way... no more inky fingers! The design of the Versafine onyx black is the worst...I don’t know why they designed the ink pad that way. I actually disconnected the lid from the base and it doesn’t affect the ink pad at all. It’s still closes very tightly & stays juicy. But I just HAD to disconnect it... it drove me crazy being connected. Lol. Your tags turned out so cute! TFS!
I love this idea! I just ordered my Santa Baby supplies from your store! These are just precious and I can’t wait to do up a set or two. And thank you for the idea of the stamp pad holder, Brilliant idea! You could make some hole covers out of vellum for the tags that have words at the top, just a thought. Thanks so much for sharing! Blessings to you and your family.
In order to not waste ribbon, twine, etc. could you tie the bow or thread the tag to a desirable size then remove it and measure it? You could make a little chart for tags, bows or whatever listing lengths and width of ribbon. I find wider ribbon will take more length than narrow. Love all of your crafts and designs!
Maymay, I firmly believe if you are going to do something to it to be best of your ability and the way you want. I can always see a different way of doing something when I buy an item.
That was delightful as usual!!! I'm in love with that pink Santa!! I wanted some last year so bad But couldn't get any last year. I'm gonna have to snap some up now!
You have time to do these things when you start early. I am not as big on the tiny things like the reinforcements. My zen time is through other repetitions. I absolutely understand what you mean!
Like you, I don't always know where or how I'm going to use my tags. Why waste twine or ribbon? It also saves from getting knotted up when I store them till wrapping time. Thanks for your inspiration!
Love the video - but I think I'd make the larger brown circles, attach them to the tag, and then punch the center circle...then the tag is punched already too! Love to see your ideas!
Love the tags! Love watching your process! You make it look so easy :) Is there any chance you might be willing to do a video on how to use up 4.5 x 6.5 patterned card packs (photo mats)? I have a few packs from Hobby Lobby that I bought ages ago, but don’t really know what to do with.
Love your tags that's a perfect idea for that little pad. Great idea for holding your pad. You can bet I'll be using that idea. I always get ink on my finger tips, love, love this idea.
This is nice 👍 look at that triangles 🌲 we can make I into that this year what stamp board is this never ? saw black back before. Thank you for sharing .
These are just gorgeous and so vintage looking! Which is my favorite! How can I order some of your products? Love your videos and my daughter and I love watching together! Hope you will be doing a Christmas home tour with your mama and Mrs Brenda! So looking forward to seeing them! God bless you always! 🙏
This is the first time I have seen your video. I LOVE IT!!! You are from the south aren't you? I am too, I miss Georgia. I have been in Iowa 18 years but I still have my accent!! I LOVE TAGS!!! I am going to make these next year. I can't wait to watch more of your videos. Have a blessed night. 😁❤
very very cool. I am new to this hobby, there are so many gadgets, I do not know what to buy. so I am going to try to see what most people use in their tutorials.
Ppl like to see that little extra thing that you crafted. I love it because it would make an nice ornament and if they wanted to do that they could put some embellishments to it before they put it on the tree.
Hi, an ATC is Artist Trading Card, it is a 2.5 x 3.5 card that you trade with other artists and crafters. Her is a video that shows you the ropes on how to make these : ua-cam.com/video/8VXgmtE6Fok/v-deo.html Tamatha Luehrs Social Media CSR tamatha@maymaymadeit.com
For the tags that have a design on them that you want to be able to see you could make the reinforcements from vellum. I make vellum reinforcements for all of my 3 ring binder pages...they are almost invisible. :)
Hi! Good idea with a rubber bands. People could use a small meat tray after they take the meat off of it of course! I believe that would work quite well. Thank you for your good idea
Angela Santangelo Hello we are using art glitter glue and the fine metal tip. We carry those in our online store. We ask that you call into the store to order due the low freezing temperature of the glue. Thanks Tamatha Social Media CSR

I think she used both of the "maybe" groups to stamp wreaths on, but math is still nice.
Thank You...Love all ur tips....I am new to stampings..cards...etc..
Omg that rubber band tray idea is a game changer! So glad you figured that out and shared that with us! I am a mass producer as well so this I will definitely recreate for my craft area.
Your stamp rest is brilliant! Of course your tags are adorable too. But the gem of this video for me is that one tip! TFS.
