Great Episode!!! Love it!!! It's these ingenious Active Strategies employed by ingenious investors like Oliver that helps resolve one niche of the housing problems that people don't want to touch or don't have the expertise to touch. Love it!
Really enjoyed this ep gents! Lots of golden nuggets. Was actually thinking of value add strategies recently so this episode couldn't have dropped at a better time!
Absolutely loved this episode! Thank you Todd and Oliver!! It brought back so many memories from my design days, and it also reminded me a lot of Cliff Tan the 'now you know' guy 😂
This was good, but just on the last example... That's a ton of work to get done before putting an offer in on a house. By the time you get a response from the council the house would be sold
just curious on the third example. it appears that the tracing sheet slipped west by 1meter, were you proposing external wall changes along the new kitchen or only internal changes? Another question, is there a dwelling above (curious because it then needs to transfer those hydraulics and then again from the new location to the sub-terranean location of the drainage and sewer) and whether or not there is sufficient minimum floor to ceiling height to accommodate the new pipework falls in the ceiling and in the ground? And thirdly just a comment, by he time you add a built-ins to the new bedrooms, im guessing there's only enough room for single beds. cheers, otherwise awesome ideas.
Great question, when talking about valuations an “as complete valuation” is done by a licensed valuer to asses land and construction plans that allows them to give a valuation “as if it was complete”
This annoys me so much investment property should not exist on house detrrmeined by spending power. Socialist policies should be put in. Develpoerd should be in jail like trump. Waffle waffle
Brilliant, I could watch episodes like this all week
Thanks mate! This was a fun one to make with Oliver

Totally agree. Not to mention the cost of engaging all the various consultants.

Genuine question, why move the bathroom on the unit in the last example? It's the same dimensions to just put the 2 bedrooms side by side
guessing you need to get in and out of the bathroom from the common area
Great episode!! I’m new to the channel and topics, what does “as complete” mean in this context 17:58 . Thank you Todd.
