Amazing how having children will change perspectives on everything from training to racing. Thank you for sharing a part of your journey. Very inspiring.
a really nice story. analyzing pain and going with your instinct is really important. I personally do not believe in "finishing a race at all costs". suffering and doing long term damage are two very different things.
@@TDMiller in the beginning also... obviously the athletes get customized versions, grip is in jeopardy in some otherwise good shoes (Timp, Superiors), whatever shoes she wears, tread pattern is completely different, basically a completely different shoe than the model for the rest of us...
Congratulations.... but as we grow older... as a runner we all know life gets in the way - or life got in the way and we turned to running as therapy 😊
Loved this short film :)
She looks like a fore-foot runner, just like me! I love the style of this, way to go Amanda!
I also noticed that and use that style.
What a video!! What’s the name of the song at the beginning?

Amanda seems like such a cool person, glad to see her so happy as a mom. Also I envy her calves. They’re just insane 💪🏻
I think the kid will definitely be a champ ultra runner.
Great video. Best part was the music from Tommy Rivs brother A.J. So cool that you added that in there. 🏴☠️🖤🏴☠️
Way to rock those trails Mom. So cute.

Love this. You're an inspiration, Amanda!
Rylan. What a killer name. I hope that's homage to The National. :) Great video!
Great video! Wonderful insights.
Damn! Those calves Amanda 👍🔥 happy for you both finding a balance in life.🏃🏃🏃
I’m proud of you friend. 💕

Agreed ✊🏻
Awesome! What shoes was she wearing at 13:57?
I’m thinking Superior, but I am not certain.
@@tombargerstock3419 thanks, although I've never seen this colourway 😊 also, do I see a tiny Vibram logo a few seconds later on the outsole?

Vibram offers custom soles at UTMB that attach to any shoes. So anyone can run in custom footwear.
@@nathanvandendungen4450 sure, but I personally prefer to have Vibram "on board" for the high prince point, that's 1 reason I stopped running Altra...

Her calves are pure power. She could probably calf raise a small car!
Her legs inspires me
🔥🔥
You lost me at “sleep 8 to 12 hours a night… and take a nap”
