This is something youd buy, use one, and forget about. Waste of money.
Not to contact a customer and ask for some feedback on sales must leave a question mark with the customer that the seller doesn't really care. You are never to busy to make that call.
You mean to contact one of his resellers/vendors/distributors. Not the 'customer'.
Rachel and Doug both looking like "Why would people eat out of anything other than solid gold tupperware"
😂
Never been on such a big Dragons Den binges since the lockdown 😂
Me too.
A men to that
me to and shark tank ,
Never cared as much as I don’t about your comment since lockdown 😂
you cared about it enough to make a comment that no one cares about ,
Well done Jay for refusing the Dragons greedy offers
The product was solid, had little competition and turnover of 200k already. Asking for 40%/50% for half of it was pretty unfair just because he didn't pick up a phone once. Dragons seemed to just have a negative bias here because the guy was not exactly a charmer but that does not make him a bad or untrustworthy entrepreneur.
Legend has it he's still saying "Mmm hmm, mmm hmm, mmm hmm, mmm hmm..."
the way you pitch really can change things. I mean this guy makes it sounds like this is the most boring stuff ever but teleshopping channel sell stuff like this all the time and they just make them sound so exciting.
Not everyone is great at marketing
Doesn't really matter, we can all see the usefulness of the product
If he says "mhm" one more time I'm going lose my mind. I'd never work with him for that one reason alone. I wouldn't be able to tolerate it.
You can get these very cheaply now. On Amazon Uk you can get all the pieces for £3.99, or two full sets for £4.99. Bargain! Shame the bloke was so unlikeable. Perhaps it was just nerves? Theo should have told him what he could bring to the project. But I wonder if Jay was just there for the advertising.
Why do you say he is unlikeable ?
The guy wrote a blog in 2014 about the business failing. He's since been working on other products.
I watched this the other day and it seems the title is different and thumbnail added Duncan... What's up with that? I'm guessing they couldn't decide on the best title... and wanted more viewers😁
Lol Theo... WHAT I DIDNT TELL HIM IS IVE GOT A MATE THAT WOULD MAKE HIM ALOT OF MONEY IF HE GAVE ME 50%...
Yeah nice one Theo, then you missed out on 50% of the big orders too, I'm sorry he isnt psychic, you have to tell him bits so he knows its worth giving a whole 50%, you still have a duty of care as an investor to not be a total burk. You Lemon.
This product looks great. Is prob easier to wash than regular dishes.
You don't want to eat from plastic everyday
12:37 "I hope to be in that chair in a few years time"
What, the one outside? XD
Then is nothing. Loved his answer. Pee back on his face :))
Title: "Pick Up The Bloody Phone, It Takes 30 Seconds!"
Jordan Belfort:
"Pick up the phone and start dialing " ha, great movie
The Canadian version of Dragon's Den have a lot more accepted pitches and investments. They retrace past pitches and show the progress of the investment with outside cameras and updates on their success. They seem to have a lot more 'fun' by inviting the dragons to participate in the pitches. The original British show is much more conservative and cautious although very entertaining.
What's it's called? Most of these pitches are too amateur , entertaining though
@@victorespino5650 um, it's called Dragons Den Canada 🤣
