The recent Corpower unit is rated at 300 kw. Current offshore wind turbines are 15,000 kW, so the wave clusters would be 50 units. Does anyone know the spacing required between units and roughly how much they currently would cost to deploy?
Good Luck folks! Wish you the very best. It is my dream to see these wave power technologies commercialized. I am not worried about the hull but the number of moving components that cannot be serviced during rough weather even though you detune the device to reduce the oscillations.
