As « soleil blanc » means « white sun », I do prefer wearing the edt eau de soleil blanc, that is more on the coconuty /lemony side as you perfectly said. The edp is also very good, but too rich and feminine for me (I’m a man as you can guess). So the edt is perfect for me in the spring and the summer, especially in the blazing heat. I feel so refreshed and clean with the edt ! 🌞

I actually prefer Soleil Neige to either of these, although both are wonderful fragrances.

Going into the actual wear time in hours would've been even better although it can vary from person to person but just an idea, for instance does the edt last at least 4 hours? Was looking for cologne but the tiny men section in Sephora leaves a lot to be desired always find my self just grabbing fragrances smelling as many as I can by the time I find this and look up I’m in the your body is a wonderland section I ware it even though I’m male 💪🏾

Great review. I only have one Tom Ford fragrance (GV) but was looking at some on line at the weekend so will look out for those when I visit the store. The oil comment was note worthy as I have some creed body oil (GIT,Aventus) but never sure whether I should wear them on their own or combined with the perfumes or even layer them. Oh my Darling! I have been so curious on the difference since Sak's, Bloom's and Nord's counters never have Eau de Soleil for testing. Not only is your video visually pleasing, but your gorgeous, clean looking to a T and your tone is so soothing. I love how you broke it down and answered every question I had. I love that you give honorable mention to the body oil and yes when layered with the Soleil Blanc it is delicious. Great video, going to make my way over to your page and see what else is up. I am just basking in my first spray of Soleil Blanc right now (tester) and i'm wondering (since that first initial spray is SO divine) what these two would be like layered? I get citrus, ylang ylang and spice in that first intial spray and then it becomes that glorious beach scent of coconut and flowers. Do you think the citrus in the EDT would be similar to that first spray of the EDP?
Great video & thank you for your knowledge on the different fragrance types. I was always clueless on what that meant. You are correct, Tom Ford isn't cheap so unfortunately, I buy the oil replica version online.

Thank you so much for the comparison! I made the mistake of getting the Eau de Toilette when I really thought it was Eau de Perfume version and boy are they different! the eau de toilette does not last at all. I spray it and walk away and within minutes the smell is gone!

I got a sample from this at a department store and I love it. Usually I wear the Burberry Brit Summer for men during the summer as it's really light and is just a lovely scent for me but lately I've found myself reaching for either the Tiffany & co eau de parfum that I have and this little sample and I think I'm ready to get the Tom Ford one. It's summer a summery scene but I think it also fits so well with winter. It's such a home like scene that I can't see myself not wearing this during the cold season

I wish I liked either of them, but they're simply not my style. I do appreciate the quality of ingredients used, but suntan lotion/beach smells tend to nauseate me for some reason. I will say that of the two I tolerate the Eau de Soleil Blanc much better, but I would never wear it. Anyway, great video regardless and Tiff, you are glowing! Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!
I totally agree. I hated the Soleil Blanc - it was just in your face sunscreen smell. On the other hand, I just picked up a 100ml bottle of the Eau de Soleil Blanc. It's summery and beautiful without being obnoxious.
My scent of the day is actually Soleil Blanc (Parfum)...your review couldn’t have come at a better time as I was really curious to hear your perspective on each. I have become addicted to Soleil Blanc, which is not good for the pockets but every time I smell it, I just can’t help myself. I definitely feel like this scent works really well in the summertime when your skin warms up, I feel like it projects from the skin even more. Initially I felt like I was experiencing longevity issues but I realized that I just have to spray a little bit more than I would with a typical fragrance like Flowerbomb. Also, for anyone interested, the 1oz of Soleil Blanc goes for $148, the 1.7oz goes for $235 and the 3.4oz goes for $320 at Nordstrom.

Tiff, that was a nice Review you gave on Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. I have a sample of the eau de toilette. I layered it with my Cartier Carat. That's the 2nd Tom Ford Sample that paired well with my Cartier Carat: Tubéreuse Nue also meshed very well.
I saw where Sephora is selling 1 oz. of Soleil Blanc for $95. I'm gonna buy it tomorrow.

I actually ordered the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess shimmering oil instead of TF one. I got it for a better price. But, I realized want to try Soleil Blanc perfume someday. I’m very curious about the scent.

I love them both! I find the Eau to be more wearable as a man. With that, it is still what i consider only a beach scent, or a very warm day scent for ME. I would love it if any female in my life would wear either of these.
PS- i HAVE to have a tan to wear this, it's required, i wouldn't think of wearing this without a good tan.

If you like coconut just try Comtoir Sud Pacfique - Coco Extreme. It's heaven în a bottle, an if you mix it with Atelier Cologne - Pomelo Paradis you'll get a Creed - Virgin Island Walter with oranges instead of lime. A very natural smell mixed, or separatly both of them.

I own eau de soleil blanc.. since is the only thing i can own. xD ... im afraid of trying the edp cause i know im gonna love it. However is easy to me get induced into headaches cause strong smells or odors and thats why i guess i didnt get the edp in first place cause i read many reviews saying the edp was head ache inducing.
Im jealous everybody can smell the coconut cause i cant.. i can smell the citrus a beautiful amber and benzoin. Since im a pool person it gives me the vibe when i used to go as i child to a very exclusive club and could smell the pretty ladies sun tan lotion and get that crisp smell of the pool and the sun rays beaming to the water... it gives me that vibe.
My 11 yrs old daughter always tell me i smell like coconut but i cant feel it :(.
I like fragrances like golden paradise by hawaiian tropic.. chanel eau tendre edt and flora gucci. And i like this one lots cause it feels more personal. I have owned replica beach walk and its more like white flowers and creamy i like it too.
The other day i was reading a spanish j journalist and was listing all the scents that reminds of european summers... mostly the ones spent in french riviera. He wrote that an immediate memory of summer is garniers ambré solaire.. since it was very popular there. So the official scent of french holidays its ambre solaire. He also pointed that the most similar perfume to that product was tom fords eau de soleil blanc... amongst others like lancasters eau de soin, guerlain terracotas or evev estee lauder bronze goddess. But to me ambre solaire smells more similar to replica beach walk. :)
By far TF Eau soleil blanc is my lifetime fragrance. Hope can get the shimmery version soon..

Sounds probably weird, but I adore eau de soleil blanc and soleil blanc, layered on top of Erba Pura, ufff, this citruses, amber, they match just so beautifully on my skin, and underneath my trusty BumBum cream and maybe the Soleil Blanc bodymist, mediterranean summer heaven (I live in this area/climate and nowehre else, this fragrances/combos shine as they do it in south of Europe:).....

Tom Ford is by far the best perfuming brand in the world. I own everything from Oud Wood, to more brave scents like Lavender and Lost Cherry. In total I own 12 Tom Ford fragrances. I also wear a lot of Tom Ford clothes, especially suits. Tom Ford, together with Armani and Prada, make the most comfortable suits in my opinion. Not even Creed can compete with scents of Tom Ford. I think Aventus is overrated, Virgin Island water is much better in my opinion. Especially now in the summer I’m using it very often because of its vibe and freshness.
I’ll be going to Italy and Southern France in exactly 9 days. I’ll bring with me Soleil Blanc, Virgin Island Water, Lavender Extreme, Costa Azzurra and Neroli Portofino. Amalfi Coast, French Riviera, here I come!

Each is entitled to his own opinion I suppose. I personally think I’m very sharp in regards to fragrances, although I tend to prefer the products on the more exquisite end of the market. Kurkdijan is another brand I’ve gotten a taste for.

I love the eau de parfum! They really are so different to me. Neither of them are worth the price bc the sillage is so weak. And in truth, they do smell a bit generic... like Victoria Secrets could create something comparable. But great video sis. Could I ask for the details on your time piece tho 😍???
I also thought the sillage and longevity were weak when I initially tried them...I find myself spraying on more than I would with a typical fragrance and that works but of course you go through more product that way also lol

Aerin Hibiscus has a very similar vibe. It’s Soleil Blanc with florals added to my nose. It’s also missing some of the woody notes of the edp, but I have the Eau de Toilette and Hibiscus Palm and they are close.

I have both of them. I prefer Eau de Soleil Blanc of its "peppery" in the scent, it makes it a little bit more masculine than the Soleil Blanc. But I really like Soleil Blanc also, its a bit more "easy" and not so much in your face, but the scent is really nice. I would go for Eau de Soleil Blanc nightime in a warm weather, and Soleil Blanc during the day, specially to the beach

Nate Kowalski ...I am old school I love Feminine white flower and rose fragrances .....For me there is a difference in most cases between smells that are more masculine and more Feminine...as a feminine lady I do not wish to smell leathery smokey or overtly musky.... like a guy ! ..... and would not like husband wearing flowery feminine woman’s perfumes a major turn off .....
