I'm liking the speakers, sound and looks of them. sheer detailed and open sound.

Hi Jay and thank you, I am Rene from Nagra, has you know it is a big challenge to built a High end system in a very large room, 2 to 3 time bigger than a normal listening room in few hours. Such a system need real acoustic to have a realistic sound. We install drap to do a room in a room to help but the acoustic is bad and half of the room is glass window two time bigger than what you see. Also the quality of the AC is very bad for a system at that level. Last thing is that we did not know the Stenheim before the show it was the first time we try it. We set at first the crossover at (+) for the tweeter because of all the drap but finally on Sunday we try at the (0) position and with the warm up and burn in it did sound more warm.

Thanks for the feedback Rene. I appreciate you letting me and my audience know the challenges you had with the room. It’s definitely a big effort to make a room with bad power and windows sound great. I will say I appreciate your willingness to speak on this issue.

Was not impressed by this one. It's not the speakers. Imo, Nagra is the Swiss ARC, glorious in its heyday, but surpassed in the current era.

Too clinical for me. Besides dire straits always sounds good, even on a Bose sound bar.
