I got 2 minutes in and I had goosebumps. All the crappy Gundam series we had to endure, and THIS never got picked up and animated?!

I really loved this! This would’ve been perfect after “Endless Waltz” movies as new chapters of Gundam Wing series.

+omexheartless21 Well If you read the whole novel of it,MOST of the parts it will talk about the connection between Trieze and Zechs,ORIGINAL Heero Yuy(When he was young,The President Heero Yuy that we know,Correct me if i'm wrong) and the PEACECRAFT before Relena and Zechs born.It was long long way back.Also if i recall,it did talk about the creation of the Zero System.If they make this as an OVA,it will somehow confuse the fans that doesn't know anything about the Frozen Teardrop.It will confuse the timeline between the Mars Century(The Current timeline) and the past.So if they do it,Ratings might won't get what they want.

FT needs to be made into OVA's. When the 2nd opening song played at the end, I got chills!
+rob19ny You're not the only one.Most fanboys/girls doesn't want FT to be an OVA due to mindfucked plots within the novel but actually,the connection between characters is just related and make sense a lot! When comes to history,FT makes it complete and understandable through out the whole thing before Gundam Wing even happen.

I dislike Frozen Teardrops for how it takes a huge dump on the sacrifices made in Wing and Endless Waltz to end their war and the use of mobile suits, though. It's basically just Gundam Wing Endless Waltz but with Mars instead of Earth. And contradicts the narrated ending of Endless Waltz as obviously there are mobile suits. No matter what name they're given. I just ignore Frozen Teardrops. Sort of. As far as I'm concerned the putting Heero into cryo makes sense, but I think it'd be voluntarily done to all of them. Because they don't really know anything more than fighting and are pretty freaking damaged people. Not to mention they'd be afraid of someone else causing problems later when they're not around to deal with it.

Well if the ending of EW didn't mentioned about the Terrasformation Project, Frozen Teardrop wouldn't happen. Personally,despite its bad writing, at least it could give us the right ending. Heero and Relena married.

At 4:08 that's Heero in a nutshell he got better only to get worse after being frozen and thawed, like me when I get woken up for no real reason to me at least anyway.

I wish there was demand for expanding the AU series in Japan, in animated form I mean, this is very little for an After Colony expansion. I don't like how AU's come and go, the exceptions being SEED and Build Fighters, but the former at this point has been at a standstill for a long time while and Universal Century keeps piling up mainly in manga form so much that I can't keep up with it anymore. Once 00 ended (on a bad note I might add) they just moved on directly to AGE. And as AGE was airing we were getting Unicorn. When AGE ended, they moved on to Build Fighters . And when Build Fighters ended, we got Reconguista (and BFT just about the same time). And while Build Fighters Try was airing, we got The Origin.
So, what's next for Gundam at this point? The Origin is all that's ongoing right now.

It’s not really fanfic when it’s written by the series creator. This is the closest we’ll ever come to an actual Wing Sequel.
The real problem is it’s incomplete. It’s clear it was written as a treatment for a sequel series or OVA, and sunrise didn’t choose to pick it up so he didn’t finish it.
We’ll probably never find out what the “Aurora Princess” is…
Unless Sunrise commissions a completion to the story.

OVA wouldn't have been too much since UC is the main cash grabbing for Sunrise and Bandai. UC being too commercialize too much until other non UC didn't receive that much(Except 00 and Seed,Mostly)

So the real Duo is with Katy Po contacting nataku all the time and the one piloting the Gundam Warlock is Duo's child or a clone with same facial feature? I recall relena called him Duo thanking him after she finished contacting Heero. Duo's upper face was half covered and it was unclear for me that he is now middle aged adult. Same goes with Wufei piloting the Gundam Nataku since both of their faces are covered?
All the original pilots have clones, it's not clear how they showed up...just appeared out of nowhere 😐. Mars aged Duo rapidly which is a phenomenon. The whole spin-off seems like a fanfic and doesn't explain much. Though, I do like the trieze flashbacks.
They should also have The Peacecraft Secret Files. Where the true secrets of Sanc Kingdom revealed and how Milliardo and Relena have started their beginnings while they were very young at Sanc Kingdom before the Alliance invaded the Kingdom.

There is an ending for it.As far as i remember,Most dislike FT because the way they wrote the story seems unappealing and The Ending from what ive heard.Heero married Relena.Have a good ending.

the Trowa here is not the "Trowa Barton" from the original series, but "Trowa Phobos".

@@dlion9651 OVA would require more budget. I assume by the time 30th Anni of Wing, surely Late UC will get its screentime and Sunrise and Bandai won't give that much of budget for Wing series. Plamo kits proved it at some point.

Nope. At the end of the Frozen Teardrop novel, They both married.
I read like for Heero said " I will kill you" to Relena was kind of proposal, never wanted to kill her. And yes as far as I know he loves her and in the final of frozen teardrop they married.
Funny how Relena asking Heero to kill her but they end up getting married. So kill me = marry me in the Wing universe.

I am suggesting that he can "kill" either identity at will, faking a death and sneaking away to assume the other identity. Being the person you want to "kill" makes it much easier to pull off the "assassination."
I suppose I should have added extra quotes and winking faces to the comment, so that it would be easier to recognize it as a joke. Text communication has that added complexity.

Frozen Teardrop is by far the most weak story of the Wing universe. I cant believe there are naïve fans complaining about why this got never animated.
Its the right choice. All the clones, contrivances, rehashed Gundam designs from Wing, retcons etc just made FT a story that was unneeded.
Sumizawa should be ashamed of himself for thinking that this was a needed sequel.
