I just finished watching the latest Rock the Block. I thought Sarah and Bryan should’ve won it as their unit was so classy and so absolutely beautiful. Congratulations on a gorgeous job well done.

Show is interesting. Like what they did for the community on the island. She gets on my nerves. Would like to go to this resort, but after looking at what it would cost I just don’t see it being worth it. Just too expensive.

I'm a Canadian and yes it's true they are wonderful people. Bryan and Sarah have always been known to go the extra mile for whoever they have been helping and that means at times taking on the extra cost all on their own. I am so happy to have watched this and find out that this is not a trashing famous people story. The truth is they are great people who just happen to be from Canada.

After watching part of the show 11/7 2021 . Brain you're a Saint. Sarah can be so demanding and don't actually do the physical work. No harm intended ... Just saying you're a good man!!!

Bryan I watched on DIY he has great sense of humor
Love watching the show but found it irritating that they were not on the same page about some things. Like really bad communication with each other. Sarah designs (and the designs are great but it seems she doesn't consult with him about the designs and the materials and the cost of materials. Then he builds and its not how she wants it. They seem to waste a huge amount of money re-doing things. Really sad that a hurricane struck the Bahama's when they were almost finished and then when they are ready to open WHAM!!! Covid strikes, really hope that everything works out for them .
It’s a reality show. It mimics real life. Working with a is spouse hard. But I agree she is annoying.
I love them both! They work perfectly together. It takes two and balance to make this type of lifestyle to work well!

She works him like a work horse not caring at all if he is getting enough rest.
When you excel at what you do, go to it. I think she is good at her job even though she may over spend, talent will win. Her decorating and his skills at doing things right should start paying off.

Great parents and partners in life if you think she is bossy your not seeing the real deal they joke around more than anything with each other and what would the show look like without their banter and dedication to being successful during the ups and downs of growing a business.

Gawd she brought some EXPENSIVE decor items! Girl, shop with me and I’ll teach you how to shop economically for amazing decor items. I also lived in the islands so I would have been able to pre-warn you about the things you found out on your own…the hard way! You guys had to do too many do-overs because you didn’t understand the challenges you were facing before you went to the tropic.

Such a talented couple. Both are good at what they do. I wish they had done this project at a more accessible location like Cancun.
Accessible to whom? Cancun is not as accessible to most of the US and Canada as the Bahamas are, being off the coast of Florida. I'm sure cost there would be more and I personally would not want to raise my 4 kids there. It's also a high crime location. You're obviously biased for some reason if you see any positive reasons for "Island of Bryan" (the shows real name) to be filmed in Mexico.
Me time is especially important to women because men are always thinking of only themselves...lol.,,,as we die in military duty and work in coal mines to support our families.
Used to love watching Brian but when his wife added her two cents worth I lost complete interest.

Sarah is fabulous. She knows what she wants. If she was a man, no one would question her attitudes.
Brian is a nice guy. A hell of a lot more realistic and down to earth than his HGTV predecessor, Mike Holmes. But her on the other hand? Well if we were married, which would never have happened anyway but if it did we would end up in a bitter divorce with the lawyers being the big winners!
And you write "trip reviews" for Canadians? Do they all include your opinion on women involved in the places you visit? After reading the title, I was expecting a hit piece. Glad to see I was wrong.
I have watched all of his shows, the first one was when he renovated their home and put in a pool to keep Sarah HAPPY. She used to run a ballet scschool. She is very bossy and demanding she also has a habit of changing her mind in the middle of the project. He takes it all in his stride.

I also suffer from agoraphobia for about 45 yrs, still always there but have to always remember, I have been through this before & what I think is going to happen ( panic attacks ) I say to myself, I been here before & got through it. How do you deal with being away from your safe place ( home ) & being on a Island, & long flights? I struggle with that.

It is expensive! Price it out to find out how expensive it is. And it is not really easy to get to either.nice place but too much money for my wallet. But then when someone has high priced ideals like she has their sense of reality is up in the clouds.

You stick to all inclusive in the Dominican or Mexico. You have obviously never been to a luxury resort. It's not a theme park to amuse you 24/7. It's for people to escape life, eat good food, enjoy scenery and nature and rejuvenate. You wouldn't get it. You couldn't afford it anyway.

i like the program, but now it seems to be which one can spend the most money.
Spouses are spouses. Work is work. Deliberate intentions to derail either situation is really stupid. I'm not going to state the obvious, but ONE of these two is jealous of the other. I think that the word endure was correct, Bryan. If only we could be able to divide and conquer (so to speak), without the need to feel like we need to work together. I see a person without a life preserver, desperately trying to find the surface of the water. You know who you are. I, at least feel your plight requires separate places to call work. At home, I'm almost positive, would ALSO improve. A lot of throwing blame around, could only fog the main directive.
I sincerely hope you can both see the end of the tunnel , and I think you can listen to each other, and always try to understand the other's p.o.v.. Best to stick to the rules, and have more predictable results from that will really astound both of you. Luv you guys.

All you haters need to get a life. Sarah is an incredible talent. Not only is she one half of their team who has just as much to loss as Brian
if this doesn’t work out. It is literally her job to make that place beautiful. All while also managing the money and a family. When ever you have a married couple who also works together, there are going to be disagreements and sometimes extra stress, that is not just caused by one person.
Plus don’t forget this is “reality TV” where editors cut and clip to make a store appear a certain way. You should be ashamed talking about a women of strength, stamina and guts in that way!

It was a good show to watch, to kill time, but just like all reality shows, there was very little reality going on.
Love the show, but think they should sell the resort if they get a good offer. Doesn’t look like they’ll be able to walk away and go back to their old life in Canada with so many problems always cropping up at the resort. If they are actually worth so much money, why is he constantly complaining about running out of money (or is that for the benefit of the show)?
When I see him saying 'What are we risking? Absolutely EVERYTHING!' I Laugh...they didn't risk everything...they risked nothing of their own! They didn't risk their business, they didn't risk their huge home near Campbellville. Do you know what it costs to have Quentin keep a horse, have private equestrian lessons, etc. Do you really think RBC didn't know what was involved and were still prepared to front them the money?

It has been rough in everyone trying to make it through covid lockdowns and all of the mixed messages from government “officials” Brian has been very fortunate to have had the success he has had. And I agree it can all be gone at the drop of a hat, i have tried to convince my son of this all his life, but I suppose we only realize that from experience. Cheers🍻

I have always enjoyed watching Brian but can’t stand his wife. She should go back to her ballet teaching!! I started watching Brian when he did Disaster DIY .... but not watching him at all any more because of the bossy wife!!

I used to like Brian. Not anymore. For one thing, his wife never shuts up. My wife watches the show. It makes me sick to see them advertising their “amazing” life. They are the Canadian version of Chip and JoAnne and that’s no compliment. My wife wanted to go to their resort and I said “No god damn way will that ever happen!”

This talented couple are somewhat toxic together. Brian is domineering and dismissive of Sarah and talks down to her. When Sarah doesn't get what she wants she becomes passive aggressive and unable negotiate what she needs without pouting. They don't compliment each other well and Brian seems very sexist.. I stopped watching them because I find them grating to watch. To each there own.
. I think they are all great people however I'm really getting tired of him being sarcastic and belittling Sarah , and treating her like she is a bitch, and like he is a king. I can't watch it any more , I can't watch him constantly cut down Sarah. I just can't watch Mr. perfect any more
