    Dr. Sawan Giridhar Dharmpuriwar, the three roman plays are not about "Roman Kings" as you claim. I assume this video is intended to educate students about Shakespeare's works and not disinform. Holding the title of Dr. and making such vital mistakes is shameful. Coriolanus for instance is not a king but a patrician and a military hero. Referring to Coriolanus as a king would be a mischaracterisation of his role in the play and a misunderstanding of the historical and political context.The political structure in ancient Rome during the time depicted in the play involved a REPUBLICAN system with elected officials, senators, and other political figures. Not even Julius Caesar can be considered a king. Again, referring to Julius Caesar as a king would be inaccurate because he did not hold that specific title, and the Roman political context was one that generally resisted the establishment of kingship...
