Ah, its such a hard choice for me between the Midea and Roborock. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for the Midea with the emptying dustbin but at the same time, would that convienience be worth the slight compromise in cleaning performance and possible inconvinience? If only the Midea didn't throw food and dust with its side brushes so much it probably would be the clear winner for me.
Avoid buying Deebot/Ecovacs products in Australia. Their Victorian service centre had my Deebot 9 in for warrantee repairs twice for the same fault. They can't repair it and Ecovacs have refused to replace it or give a refund. Don't let this happen to you. Choose another brand.
@@joanasilva6889 you got what you paid for. You cannot expect to be as good as 2x times more expensive item and have all the same features, app stability and so. Midea is a great robot for its price, but yes APP is not very responsive and its not as good as Roborock APP.
I think Roborock S7 represents the best compromise. both in terms of yield and versatility also of the base set up for double operation. and then let's not forget the plus of the cloth

But if you are looking for something more on the budget, Midea S8+ is a great option, considering it has great mopping capabilities, decent sweeping & auto dust-empty station. I don't think there are better packages/options under 500$.
@@NiuxTech certainly for what it offers interesting. however I believe that the Roborock software is one of the most complete and above all stable compared to others on the market.

Does the Midea S8+ overcome obstacles up to 2cm ?

@@NiuxTech I bought it, so far some issues with bluethooth connectivity and sometimes doesn't recognize the battery. quite unstable
