US tech companies pay remote systems/cloud engineers 80K to 100K a year but when they hire remote systems/cloud engineers from the Philippines who can speak very good English they only pay them 10K to 15K a year. Just one example of the so many US corporate exploitations.

Voted Trump. I mostly like Vivek and Musk albeit they are both trust fund babies. Vivek is a big time rich kid(blessed with a WELL funded education extracurricular activities) who actually gave more and produced more than he was given so I applaud. I disagree with them vehemently on H1-B's.
A trust fund baby in this context is someone defined as coming from a higher social-economic level than my own and received a full ride to college paid either parents/family/scholarship/cultural/race help (athletic or otherwise) to a bachelor's for college and grad school.
Yes, all D1 athletes especially those getting paid by NIL are trust fund babies in my book. If one did not scoop ice cream or work the fryer at McDonalds in High School and especially college then they are a trust fund baby - which I guesstimate is about 80 percent of everyone working in the corporate world.
NO MORE H1-B's! I have been discriminated against by H1-Bs (or former) in positions of power - H1-Bs get hired for simple jobs that require a little bit of training - no need for a masters or PhD for something a two year degree would be enough to do the job.
H1-B's from India come from the richest families and have replaced the upper middle class in tech jobs across the country. There is no shortage of tech workers. There is a shortage of teachers who speak American English well that can teach STEM!
