pros say that strickens stacking doesnt go over the max AS which u could see on the speed of his primary skill so he got min. 200% bonus dmg of it on top of the 25% more on boss monster multiplicated with the CoE 200% and the shrine u get on 200*25*(400?)*200 which gets up to 56,25 times more dmg than usual at this specific moment. if he did not get even mroe

You always spawn on arcane, so even if you wanted to pop the first archon on fire you would have 8 seconds, i.e.more than a quarter of the cooldown. Maybe there is a reason, but it just seems like wasted time.
I believe he awaited for fire because he felt he was safe. He could have used Archon earlier to avoid another death, which would certainly kill the rift.
possible, but even then he is invulnerable for 3 seconds after respawning, plus has the cheat death and activating archon early would cost him more time of dealing no dmg than another death. Could just be personal preference I suppose

you arepushing with coe from the beginning? i have trouble staying alive with coeat 85. Without coe i got to riftguardian a couple of times but could'nt kill him fast enough
do you use APD bracers? you can easily play with zodiac at 90-95 or maybe even higher but i would try to get used to the playstyle of the CoE build asap if you want to push high GRs

hydra isnt a solo build to push high GR. nobody uses it at the top of the leaderboards. its for 3/4 man groups where the role of wizard is to be the boss killer, where hydra shines. and with zodiac you dont do enough damage in high grs. you need 62.5%+ CDR and CoE on lightning rotation synchronized with double archon stacks + blackhole debuff. otherwise mobs at this GR level wont even be scratched by archon beams
Let's see if i got it right: You go around gathering trash mobs with the first round of archon, as soon as it's available again to get the double stack you start killing them. All this while scouting for pylons to get rid of elites. Have i nailed the strategy?
There's a certain item named "The Swami" which lets you keep your archon stacks for another 20 seconds after leaving archon. The belt "Fazulas impossible chain", if I remember correctly, makes you gain another 40-50 archon stacks when u enter it. So basically when you enter archon the second time, you have around twice the stacks which increases your dps by a good deal. In order to have the blue beam instead of the red one, you need to roll lightning on one of your items (Necklace / Bracers), that's all. The reason why he's tagging them the entire time is most likely that he wants to make sure that they're attacking him, so he can draw them together and he wants to keep the 15 stacks of his gem "Gogok of Swiftness" that reduces his cooldown for archon by 15%. It's important to get into archon really soon after leaving it, because otherwise you'll be granted a swift death in a 106 GR. 1% is 1,2 seconds, so 15% = 18s, which is a lot. If you have more questions, feel free to ask :)
Archon will take on the damage type that you have the most % elemental damage in. His is blue because he has lightning % on his bracers (and possibly amulet). having archon do lightning damage is essential for proccing paralysis(and by extension, the ring) as it only procs off of lightning damage. Luca explained the other question.

It's generally much more efficient in higher GRs to only kill big groups, or elite packs (for the time tokens) so you end up skipping a lot of the trash spawns

i'm not a fan of what Diablo 3 has become. seasons SUCK! they have ruined everything diablo is all about. it should just be a great co-op game with no competition bullshit!
its fun if its competitive, but the game itself is stupod atm. I mean you get your free set when you reach lvl 70 farm for 2 days to get near perfect gear, then farm with the same spec for 2000 paragons and the stat buffs on gear... boring and stupid

I used to love diablo but the game is way too repetitive for me to grind seasons. Maybe if bounties weren't so shit I'd push it but once your gear is at gr50-60 it's just boring.

I like that Rift is translated as Nephalemportal. Like the Germans had no concept of a rift before Diablo 3 RoS came out.
on rg you use mouse 1 in archon form so you can build up stricken faster?
J J yes. When you don't have 4 Tal stacks, going melee is more lucrative for Stricken stacks.

Dekraymer He very likely waited the cooldown for safety since it was a good rift. Hanging out of Archon form without stacks is pretty much suicide.

no hydra is just better against single target, so just useful in team and coe is a huge damageboost that it outclasses zodiac
