I went out this morning and had a rough day. Water temp has been dropping each night and the bass were nowhere to be found. Either way I had fun, it was better than going to work 😂. There are some Black Friday sales that are doing 25-30% off Daiwa gear so I might have to grab the pixie and a reel as well. Thanks for another dope video, always a pleasure when I see you upload new content. Tight lines bro !!
So that's not really an upgrade. It's more of expanding your tools. My favorite reel out of the box to handle 1 gram and a bit below is the Ark Gravity bfs. But if u don't intend to go lower than 1 gram, pretty much all the Japanese 28mm spool reels can do it. Such as alphas air tw, the gekkabijin version(salt approved) and even the Shimano Aldebaran /Conquest. I feel that Daiwa does it better than Shimano when it comes to lighter side.
Oh yeah love that Motor Oil shakey Head worm!!!!
Honestly, was never into shakey head fishing. Shallow and mucky water most of the time here.. But I bet it would slap em good
The Motor Oil Micro Goat from zman has been absolutely killing it for me lately.
Sounds awesome!
Motor oil has been my gom to color since soft plastics came out, amazing color
I love using worms and craws. Pretty darn good

The bass evaded me hard last week!
motor oil is one of my fav for saltwater
@@DogDudeDrone i am gonna try next season!
I use the Ned craw in that color. Caught plenty of bass with it
It's magic ya?
@ definitely
100% best colour for Perch here in Irelands tanic water
That's cool! I got a lot of tanic waters in NJ too!
Massive fan of motoroil in low light or dirty water.
I don't fish low light conditions, but I bet just a bit of sun could make it pop. Imagine night time fishing and just flashing the black light lol
Motor oil slays in the surf. At least for me. It's a West coast surf perch slayer.
Good to know, gonna try it next year for the salt world
To me “Motor Oil” it works in gem clear water condition, but around evening time
It's pretty clear atm in my waters! 👍👍
i have motor oil but i never tried it cuz white is always a producing color for me
White is a staple for sure!
Can you make a video on how to hover strolling, im trying to learn but the vids i watch just show how to rig them

So I have the curado bfs and thinking about upgrading which bfs reel would you recommend my price range is 200-500
@@ice_enderman when u say upgrade, what are you looking for? What weight range are you trying to cast?
A good lasting reel, saltwater friendly (optional), and that can throw anything from 1/8 to 1 gram or lower
