One thing I appreciated when I dated a Virgo man was his privacy! He was good at keeping our relationship a secret. I found it delightfully funny because it was cute. Yes, Virgo men are jealous! I think it's because they're sooooo shy and they're afraid of losing you. As a Capricorn woman, he had NOTHING to worry about. As long as he did his part in treating me well, we were all good.
I agree. My relationship with my Virgo (I'm a Virgo. Both have Venus in Scorpio) was private too. I asked that he would keep our relationship private. And, he did. We did have a jealousy moment. I didn't understand it because we weren't in a committed relationship in which we agreed upon. One day he saw me talking to guy and I knew right away it would be problem. I could feel it. I could see he was trying to hide it like he wasn't bothered. But I wasn't sure why he was bothered, "BECAUUUSE" we were in a committed relationship. He asked me if I gave my number to the guy. I said "Yes." I asked him " Is it something you would like to talk to me about? Something on your mine you would like to discuss with me?" He said "No". In return, the following week he invited one of his female friends to lunch two days in a row. He introduced me to her and had lunch with her amongst our group. This was strange "he never" introduced his female friends to me or had them around me. So I knew he was really disturbed by me possibly being with another man. I wasn't bothered by her. I even carried a conversation with her. I was told they had a small argument when I left and he escorted her out. ????? I asked him why did he treat his friend like that and replied he'll treat me like that. "Say what??" I told him (In my you betta go sit down somewhere voice) "You know goodin' well you can't talk or treat me like that. He looked at me with his eyes sparkling and a smile on his (he was turned on by my assertiveness) and said " Yeah, you right. I can't treat you like that." Let's just say he was very passionate the next time we were intimate :) SMH. Watching this video help me understand why.

Thank you for the video Johnathan. I am at TRUE odds with my Virgo. We've been together 3 1/2 years. He is BEYOND JEALOUS and EXTREMEMLY INSECURE. Secretive, but accuses me of doing things when Im not doing anything, but trying to love and be there 4 him. Its more things that makes me at odds, but overall I DONT feel like I matter 2 him. Dont feel protected by him. He a good person with ALOT of bad habits and I dont know how to make a connection with him. Im a personable person, but he is difficult. Jonathan, can you talk about why do virgo men express their feelings about you once they involve themselves with another person? I was involved with a male virgo (I'm a female virgo) for small length of time. 2 years after, he married. I heard about it through a mutual associate. I called to congratulate him (2 months after he married) During the conversation I apologized to him about something I felt I did wrongfully and I just needed to get it off my chest. He didn't feel I needed to but forgave me and accepted my apology. He expressed that he did not regret being with me. But the one thing he did regret he should have called me when I asked him to. He said "We just stop talking." I didn't respond to this revelation. I just listened. Towards the end of our conversation there was a brief pause and out of nowhere he told me "I love you." I was caught by surprise. I wasn't expecting him or even encouraged him to say that. I respond that I loved him too (with hesitation because he was married) To be honest, I wanted him to know too. I just didn't say it. I was trying to be respectful towards his marriage. After I said "I love you, too" he quickly tried to clean it up by saying "You know, you know, I love you like a sister" I said "Yeah, yeah, I know." ( I just rolled with) And, then he said "I miss you." I respond "I miss you too" I knew there was love there that was never expressed by us. But I felt that (if I was loved like a sister) he could have just said that out the gate "You know I love you like a sister and I miss you". I left wondering why did he say that to me??? He didn't have to say that. If his wife was present he wouldn't have said it. I haven't spoken to him since. I did not want to disturb his marriage. I could see my presence would disturb him. I was told they separated after a year of being married / divorced. We haven't connected since I last spoke to him. What I said back then before he got married still stands. Call me if you want to talk (pursue) to me.

@@doseofchanel9632 We were associate friends. I got to know him first. I observed and listened to him a lot. By doing so, I was able to know what type of relationship I wanted to have with him. He wasn't ready for a committed relationship with me. He pretty much was cool. Just not ready to be the man I needed for a committed relationship. It did not stop me from being attracted to him; wanting to be initmate with him. We had chemistry...vibe, etc when we first met. Just did not act upon it until one day. One day we went to lunch and I could feel him without him touching me. I knew he wanted to kiss me. When we return from lunch, he IM me and said "I thought you wanted to kiss me." (What?! LOL!) I said "Funny you say that. I thought the same of you." I told him "The next time you think about kissing me do it." Oh, my. Why did I say that??? LOL! A week later, I noticed he was looking at me and I looked at him and knew what he was thinking and left his presence with the quickness. LOL! (We work together) I was in my office for 5 mins and he came in , bent down and kissed the hell out of me. I was tongue tied. Literally! I didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe he kissed me! And, how he kissed me. And, where he kissed me (at work). Well I told him the next time he felt that way to kiss me. I found being direct and to the point was always good with him. I would tell him what I want and he could either do or not do. If not, I did not care. It's his decision. I gave him mine. If his decision was contrary, I let him be. My philosophy "I'm not going to pursue any man for what any man can give. Sex and Love. Both are choices. I chose to have sex with you or love you. If you don't show interest in doing the same, I'm good. I'm not pursuing any man for sex and love. I let him know my interest upfront after he kissed me a second time more passionately than the first. I told him I did not want a committed relationship with him but I did want to be intimate with him and have sex. We both agreed and started to see each other. I pretty much danced with him. Whatever he did, I did. Or, rather did it ten times better. LOL! Our rapport wasn't serious but fun. I enjoyed being with him. He was a little cocky at times, but I would straighten that out quick. I didn't hover around him either. Just let him be. Communication is the key with a Virgo. Truthfulness too. (Direct, straightforward) I never argued with him because I knew he was a liar. I would give him his platform to try to tell the truth but knew he was lying. I wouldn't argue the point. He usually hang himself eventually. I didn't hold it against him. I knew that was one of his flaws. He was affectionate. I would show him affection in various surprising unexpecting ways. Very creative ways. I paid attention to what he liked to do to me and I did it to him. He like my agression at times. My assertiveness. And, at times I would be the opposite and let him dominate the rapport. As long as he didn't get beside himself. I would check him when he did. Firmly. He knew not to disrespect me or deal with me any kind of way. You have to know what type of relationship you want with him and act accordingly. Casual relationships are just that. Casual. Here today. Gone tomorrow. On to the next. If you want a serious relationship (committment), you have to be intentional in what you do in the relationship. Marinate it. Simmer. What type of relationship do you both want? What type of relationship do you want for yourself? If he's not willing to give it to you, walk. You're not a Yo-Yo.

This Virginia dated bragged all the time he wasn't jealous. Out of the blue he would tell me at least 2 times about his ex who was "beautiful" I never saw her and everywhere went she was desired. He wasn't jealous. Not only was that inconsiderate to talk about an ex in that regard, he expressed this to make himself look calm. Nobody should be talking about an ex to a new partner whether they are not jealous or they are. That was extremely irritating and I told him to stop. Homebody even told me her first and last name out the blue rememicing about her credentials despite me having the same to offer. Smh. He should know better. Hated that. Just bad manners.
