I grew up in the logging and timber milling arena and can say that is a very fine setup you have, Glenn. A real prep work saver for you.
Very time consuming with the chainsaw mill Glen thanks for the Demonstration on Both
Awesome video Glenn, thanks for posting.

Great video!
Brilliant video
Thank you for this interesting video.
amazing!
Thanks for the video Glen. I’m pretty new to turning and just bought a sawmill. What are your favorite thicknesses to mill to for your specialty of bowls and platters? Thanks!
Did you check out the Lucas Mill? Certainly would've been worth a look - it can cut 58" wide slabs (you might have gotten a family discount 😂🤣🤣).
phil millar I didn’t really check out the competition as the dealer for Logosol is not too far from me. I don’t know any dealers here for Lucas mills although I do like their name.🙂 Logosol has an 80” version also and I am really happy with my first attempt.
@@GlennLucasWoodTurner You should be proud, you didn't drop anything on yourself or cut anything off.👍😁 That would be some size of bowl at 80 inches! I'd give that a lash, terrifying, but you've got to challenge yourself.🤔🤣😂🤣🖖
I assume that was bar oil in the one container but unclear what was in the other...
Brian Prusa Yes indeed, Bar oil and water in the other as a coolant.
